Yesterday I told Joel my "secret' but somehow what I feared since the day I met him was just a nightmare that didn't come true. If anything I'd say things between us are better. There is no secrets between us anymore and I feel relieved. Yesterday we spend the whole day together and it was amazing and one of the best days of my life. We didn't speak another word of the past, we spend the day focused on the present and getting to know each other a lot more.

This morning I woke up to about a hundred missed calls and messages from my friends. I didn't feel like dealing with anyone but Joel yesterday. I only answered Zabdiel's call yesterday to  let him know that I was okay and that I didn't want to talk about it and it was true. I practically turned off my phone yesterday. I just wanted to feel lost in the moment and not have to worry about everything else going on in my life, especially my past. I just wish the past can stay in past but I don't think that's ever gonna happen. If I say that I'm not afraid of what might happen today then that would be lying. I'm so scared of bumping into Rebecca. Imagine running into the one person you hate and the one person who has made your whole life miserable even drive you to suicide after you've tried your best to escape her. If anything I should be more scared than I am right now.  Everyone is gonna ask me so may questions that I don't think I can answer. All I know is that Zabdiel and Joel have my back and I'm so grateful for them.

I was in the car waiting for Zabdiel to get out of the house. I turned off my phone during breakfast to be able to eat in peace. When I turned it on my phone started to buzz like crazy with more texts and messages. I wasn't used to this to be honest. The only apps I have on my phone are Netflix, YouTube, Skype and some school apps. So I never really got notifications. My phone was probably the driest phone ever and I only have about 90 pictures on my phone, all of them are of me, Joel, my mom, Zabdiel and well the squad. I was thinking about school and assuming about what the worst thing that could happen today is when my train of thought was interrupted by Melissa calling me. I let it ring for a few seconds before answering.

Phone call conversation:

Lizeth: Hello?

Melissa: Liz! Hi! How are you, love?

Lizeth: I'm okay Meli, how are you?

Melissa: I'm doing good. Look I'm just gonna get straight to the point. You had me worried sick yesterday! You can't just leave like that and not check in with us. I know that you are not feeling great so I just want to let you know that you don't have to tell us or well tell me because I cant speak for everyone about what happened yesterday. Just know that whatever happens I have your back. All of us do even the guys well especially the guys. God they are really over protective. Well it comes in hand actually especially with that jerk Mark from Algebra. He doesn't even look at me after the talk he had with Richard, Chris and Johann. - She said giggling and I giggled too-

-Everyone, get yourself a friend like Melissa who would punch first and ask questions later for you.-

Lizeth: Meli, I love you! You are the definition of a true friend. Thank you!

Melissa: Anytime, baby girl! See you in a bit. Bye!

Lizeth: Bye!

End of phone call conversation:

I couldn't help but smile at the though of Meli and how amazing she is. After all that happened I don't think I deserve friends like this. This just makes it harder to lose them. I got lucky that Joel didn't think I was a murderer but what will they think. What if I lose them all. I've never had people like them in my life so it's gonna be really hard to let go of them. My train of thought was once again interrupted by Zabdiel opening the door of the car.

Zabdiel: Hey, are you ready to go.

Lizeth: Yep!

We drove in silence and it wasn't the awkward type of silence but the nice kind. Zabdiel knew me better than anyone, hell he knows me better than myself so he knew that I wasn't ready to talk and that I wasn't in the mood. In 10 minutes we had arrived at school and Zabdi was pulling into the parking lot. I opened the car door and as I was trying to get out Zabdiel grabbed my hand and gently pulled me back in.
