"Steve! Hurry up or I'm taking your boyfriend and leaving you behind!" You yelled as Bucky groaned from beside you. All 3 of you were meant to be going out for lunch but as per usual, Steve had put it to the last minute to get ready after Bucky had repeatedly told him not to.

"I'm coming, I'm coming!" Steve yelled back, running out to you and Bucky while slipping on a shirt. You rolled your eyes and turned but laughed when you saw Bucky blushing and looking at the floor. "Awww did you see Stevie's abs?" You teased as Bucky rolled his eyes playfully. "Shut up" Bucky said, trying to be mad at you but couldn't help but smile when Steve walked up and grabbed his hand.

The three of you walked to the restaurant since is was only a few blocks away, laughing and talking the whole way there. When you went out with Bucky and Steve it didn't feel like third wheeling. They always made sure to include you in their conversations and never make you feel left out. That's one of the many things you loved about this couple.

You walked into the restaurant, the smell of food filling your nose as you smiled. You looked behind you to see Steve and Bucky looking around in awe. They probably hadn't been in a restaurant this fancy since before the war.

You laughed before grabbing Steve's hand who was holding Buckys hand, leading them to a booth near the back. You all sat down and Steve went to sit next to you but you stopped him. "No. Go sit next to your boyfriend" you said, nodding your head over to Bucky who was sitting opposite you at the booth you had chosen to sit in. "But I don't want you to feel left out" steve objected. "Steve, it's fine. Really. I like having the space anyway. It gives me room to move and then lay down when I eat too much" You smiled. Steve laughed and gave in, sitting next to Bucky and pecking his cheek as he sat down.

Steve took once glance at the menu before deciding he was gonna get nuggets and chips because he hadn't had them since he was a kid. Bucky and you took a lot longer to decide what to eat. The waitress came over to get your orders, you and Bucky went but then she got to Steve who asked for 3 plates of nuggets and chips. He normally wouldn't eat three servings but they didn't have any adult size nuggets and chips. You glanced over at Bucky who was trying not to laugh as you looked at the table, covering your mouth to stop you from laughing.

You all talked until your food came and everything was great. Steve started to kiss Buckys cheek repeatedly as Bucky laughed and tried to push Steve off. You really didn't mind this, you thought it was absolutely adorable. Steve kissed Buckys lips a few times as you 'awww'ed, catching the attention of a middle age lady sitting at a table near you. She turned to look at you and made faces of disgust when she saw Steve's lips on Buckys.

"How can you sit there and watch that? It's disgusting" the lady spoke, pointing at you. Steve stopped kissing Bucky as Bucky stopped laughing. You looked over at her but she didn't give you time to say anything. "It's a sin. They shouldn't be allowed to do that. What is wrong with this generation?" She sighed, still looking at you. You knew this would effect Bucky more then you or Steve. Steve really didn't give a shit and neither did you but Bucky did. Bucky was your best friend and you couldn't stand to let some homophobic asshole insult him like that.

"Well they are allowed to do that. The laws have changed and you can't do shit about that. And for your information, they aren't even from this generation" you hissed at the lady who looked at you with disgust as well. "How dare you talk to me like that!" She yelled, getting the attention of people around you. An idea popped into your head and you kept yourself from smiling. "Oh I dare. Mind your own god damn business" you said, getting the attention of more people.

Someone sitting in the booth behind you spoke up. "She's right you know? The laws have changed" they said. You smirked as a look of pure embarrassment grew on the lady's face. She said nothing and turned back to her meal, the people around you going back to what they were doing as well. You turned around and thanked the person sitting behind you before turning back to Steve and Bucky who were smiling like idiots.

"Thank you" Bucky said, solemnly. You smirked "you're welcome but I'm not finished yet. No one insults my best friends with something like that when it's 2018 and gets away with it" Bucky smiled as Steve's face dropped. "Y/n. Don't. It's ok. You've done enough already" steve said, grabbing your hand from across the table. "Let me do this steve. She deserves it" you pleaded and Steve sighed, taking his hand off yours. He knew you were right. You smiled and quietly thanked him.

You were only friends with Bucky and Steve because you were also part of the avengers. You had been recruited to them 7 years ago in Sokovia, along with Wanda after they saw you using your one of your powers to control elements while fighting a group of Ultron bots. You helped Steve fight HYDRA and after helped him to find Bucky. When they told you they were dating you were overjoyed and happily cried every time you saw them being cute together for the following 2 weeks.
(You also fought along side them during the mini war between Steve and Tony)

You glanced at the lady every now and then, waiting for her to take a drink from her wine. Once she finally did, you took control of the liquid and spilled it all over her face. She screamed in shock and stood up, crashing her chair back into the person behind her, who got very angry.

You, Bucky and Steve watched it all unfold, trying not to laugh as you also watched everyone in the restaurant turn to the lady who was screaming and cursing at the person she crashed her chair into.

She was escorted out of the restaurant by security but not before she watched you smile sweetly and wave before flipping her off, mouthing "fuck you" as she screamed again in frustration.

You turned back to Bucky and Steve and couldn't keep your laughter in anymore, all 3 of you bursting into fits of laughter.
