I love the light in your eyes and the dark in your heart

You knew Bucky Barnes. You know his past and his fears. What makes him happy and that causes his ptsd. You know what makes his eyes light up in that adorable way that they do and what has caused the dark in his heart. You know all the details of his life from before the war. You know about his little sisters and how he and Steve shared a single mattress in a tiny apartment in Brooklyn during the 30s. You knew his past and the little intricate details and he still didn't understand why you would want to be with him when you know what he's done. You couldn't care less. You loved each other more then anything.

You love our permanent chase and the bite of our bark

Before you and Bucky started dating, it was a lot of teasing, playing hard to get and chasing after each other. Your relationship was still a bit like that but less of the worry of losing one of you to someone else. Sometimes the fear of losing each other would resurface when you had an argument or someone was in a bad mood but both of you knew nothing would ever split you apart, your love was too strong.

We know we're classic together like Egyptian gold

Many people have said you and Bucky have a classic romance; love at first sight followed by a teasing friendship until someone makes a move. And you can't deny that it's true but they don't know about what happened in between. They don't know about the restless nights where you would end up together in the same bed asleep because you couldn't fall asleep by yourself. They don't know about one of you calming down the other after a nightmare. They don't know about how the two of you became so accustomed to sleeping in the same bed that you would sneak out of your room every night to sleep with Bucky because it benefited both of you so greatly.
Your love may be classic but it was no easy ride.

Bucky has never fallen for anyone as much as he has for you. He notices all your little flaws and quirks that you don't like and then praises them to make you love them they way he does. Bucky has seen the long scar running across your left side from the torture you endured from your parents when you were younger. He kisses it every day and tells you how beautiful you are. You do the same for him. You know how he feels about his arm and how the scars around where the metal meets his skin got there. Everyday you tell him how much you love him and his arm and how much you appreciate him.
You're learning to love yourselves from each other.

You will never deny the fact that you were always ready to start a fight or some kind of argument. Sometimes you didn't even know you were arguing with someone until it was too late. All your close friends knew that trying to argue with you was a dead end because you always won and you were stubborn as hell. You tried your hardest not to argue with Bucky but sometimes your opinions conflicted about certain things and before you knew it, you and him would be shoulders deep in an argument, both as stubborn as each other and too determined to prove you were right. No matter what happened you always ended up apologising to each other shortly after, neither of you able to stay mad at the other for long. No matter how big or small the argument, you always loved each over no less afterwards.

Bucky loved nothing more then stay inside all day and cuddle. You didn't mind doing that but you also loved going out to restaurants or taking a walk together. Like usual, you has an argument about it but compromised and decided that for very second date the two of you would go out. Neither of you really cared what you did as long as you were together.

Throw balloons, teddy bears and the chocolate eclairs await

For your 1 year anniversary, Bucky surprised you with a movie date on the roof. He had set up a projector and a white sheet to watch the movie with plenty of pillows and blankets on a mattress to cuddle on. You were in complete shock the whole night. You couldn't believe someone would go to this much effort for you. It was the best night of your life.

Got nothing but love for you, fall more in love every day

At the end of the day, you and Bucky didn't care about anything as long as you were in bed together, cuddled close and warm. The two of you fell more in love with each other every day even though it didn't feel possible because you already loved each other so much. You loved Bucky more then anything. Bucky loved you more then anything.
Your love was unbreakable.

I also had my first game in two weeks last night and we got fucking smashed with 25-5 for almost all 3 sets and now i'm exhausted.
