Jack stared at you, in complete silence. "Do I really not scare you?" Jack asked softly, now daring not to freak out like he wanted to. He didn't want you believe you weren't scared, everyone feared him but you? Why didn't you? Was life really that bad? You smiled warmly and leaned back, well as much as you could since Jack held you. "Look aren't everything or anything. Its mostly the personality, but some people act different because of what happened in their past. So... Well... Everyone can be good if they want to or try." You said in a sweet voice making Jack sigh and look down to your lap.
'For a killer, he is still human...' You thought and soon cupped his cheek gently which made him look up at you, 'lonely soul?' Jack looked at you, and for some reason you knew he was sad. You smiled warmly and hummed out, "Don't look so sad, I'm not good at comforting people." You joked which made Jack laugh softly as he shook his head and looked away. Jack grabbed your hand ever so gently and removed it from his cheek and held your hand as it rested in your lap. His thumb running over your knuckles softly making you get goosebumps. Jack sighed as he closed his eyes, suddenly resting his head on your chest. You honestly hated physical contact, especially when it comes to specific areas, but since first some reason you allowed it.
Jack rested his head against you, his breathing slow and steady. You soon brought your hand up to run your fingers though his dark locks of brown hair. You never thought you would act like this with a mostly-semi-stranger. Let alone the way he was acting you could honestly mistaken him for acting like a boyfriend, something you wish you had. "Why couldn't you be like most girls." Jack suddenly mumbled out as you continued to play with his hair. "You should run... Scream... Make it a fun game but... Here you sit playing with my hair." Jack laughed, a soft smile tugging at the corners of his lips, "I've never met a girl like you, (Y/n), you just have that... Warming touch I guess." Your face flushed red and a smile pulled at your lips, you had no words to speak since no one was ever this nice.
Jack held onto you for a while until you heard footsteps down the hall. You started to squirm and try to push Jack away. and surprisingly he was strong and kept his grip, "Someone is coming! Let go!" You whispered yelled at Jack to which he chuckled out, "Let them see, all their doing is bringing dinner." Not even moments later a man stops in front of the door and raised a brow seeing Jack and you, cuddling as it would look like. "Oh so you have a girlfriend." The man laughed out causing Jack to growl, his nails starting to dig into your sides causing you to squeal softly in pain. "Oh? Still don't like me?" The man laughed out more before you heard something of a tray dropped onto the floor, "Try to reach it without your girl grabbing it." The man said before he walked off do give food to the others here.
Jack sighed as you went to turn around to look at the tray of food that was brought, but Jack stopped you by cupping your chin and making you look at him, "Please don't look. You will get sick." Jack said softly and sweetly, with a hint of pleading lacing his voice; now sounding as if he was scared to lose you. 'Man, his bi-polar ass...' You thought to your self which caused you to laugh softly and make Jack look at you questionably. "Is it really that bad?" You soon asked softly as you tilted your head and looked at him. "Yes it is. Please, (Y/n)." Jack pleaded with you making you laugh softly and sigh as a small smirk played at your lips, "Fine." You hummed out which caused Jack to smile and dropped his hand from your cheek and rest it on your outer thigh.
Jack chuckled as he hummed out, "Next time you show up you need to bring games, maybe they will fix the lights in here too." He hummed out as he looked away from you and around his- practically empty cell. There was a bed that sat in the corner, but the chains restricted him from even reaching it. "What did you do anyways?" You finally asked as you started to look around the cell. 'How would a man be trapped in a cell, with chains, and practically never seeing anyone. Had his family disowned him?' You thought to yourself. "Do you really wanna know?" Jack asked sorry, almost sounding sad that you asked. "I do but if you don't want to tell me that fine." You said as you looked back to him, needing to look down since you still sat on Jack's lap. Jack didn't dare to look at you, he just kept staring off into the abyss of his cell. "Long or short story?" Jack asked suddenly, his grip that once relaxed; now dug back at your sides. "J-Jack ease up that hurts." You said as you placed your hands on his arms and gripped them yourself. Jack blinked and eased up quickly, "S-Sorry." He sighed out as he looked at you with his brows knitted together. "Its fine." You hummed out and smiled at him warmly to ensure him it was perfectly alright.
"Now that long story of yours." You giggled out softly making Jack smile ever so softly at you. "Long story? Really?" Jack chuckled, "There's many reasons I'm in here. Are you sure you want the long story?" "Um... Actually lets go with short." You laughed out nervously and looked away with a smile still playing on your lips. "Well... Back away since... God knows what I'll do..." Jack said as he let go of you and leaned back, his arms resting on the ground besides your legs. "I trust you enough to know you wont hurt me." You said sternly to Jack which made him laugh sinisterly at your, "You have til the count of three before I push you harshly back... 1... 2..."
