(Hi there!

I'm so sorry about being awol for a few days. But here's a chapter and I had a jaw-drop when I wrote it. Hope you like it too.

Plus, that song there is an epic song - sort of reminds me of this chapter. That makes no sense. Maybe it does. Figure that out for yourself. XD

Make sure you vote at the end of the chapter, okay?

Bye!)

"Thanks for dropping me home", says Alana, as I pull up outside her gate. I know she lives with her aging grandmother and her bachelor uncle. And of course, Varun Mama and Diana Mami and Diya stay with them when they are in India.

"Al... Look - I'm sorry about so many things. At this point, I don't know where to begin", I say and I want to sincerely apologize for everything. Deeksha's behaviour, my snapping at her, the whole scene. But then, what if her friend Kumar and Viren Kothari are the same person?

"Harsh", she calls me, but I'm zoned out so I don't respond, even though I hear her. "Harsh!!" she calls me more urgently shaking me by the arm and pointing ahead of us. I realize she is pointing at a noticeably familiar car parked on the street. What gives it away is the word "Sanghvi" on the number plate, along with the registration number.

"That's..." I begin, unable to form my words in confusion.

"Vishwas's car", Alana finishes for me. We give each other a thoughtful glance, silently asking each other a question that we are both unwilling to physically voice out.

What is Vish's car doing here?

"You know what? I am getting sick of this. Let's go inside. If he's here, it should be at home, right?" she asks.

"Umm... I am not sure if I should come", I say, but of course, Alana would have none of that.

We walk in through the gates and into her bungalow and when we ring the doorbell, to my surprise, it is Varun Mama who opens the door.

"Hey Al! Oh!! Hi Harsh!! What a pleasant surprise!" he says, letting us in. "If I'd known all the kids would be here, I would have told Diana to make something for all of you!"

"Wait - who else is here?" Alana asks, as we take off our shoes and enter the living room.

"I am" said a booming voice from the sofas, where Vishwas sat perched at one end with a smiling old lady at the other. After a quick introduction of mine with the lady, who happened to be Alana's grandmother whom I had met once before many years ago, we resorted to business.

"How come you're here today, bro? Where's Sneha?" Alana asked. Damn - the girl could be as sharp as a shard of glass when she wanted to. No wonder she's a journalist - I thought to myself as a rather stifled looking Vishwas mustered the courage to answer her.

"Yes.. About that", he said, clearly struggling to tell us.

"Go on.. Tell them! They're likely to know soon anyway, right?" laughed Varun Mama. Alana and I shot each other equally worried and surprised glances as Vishwas finally took a deep breath before asking us, "Guys - Under no circumstances, can you tell anyone about this. You got it?"

"Of course, Vish.. Are you in some sort of trouble?" I ask, trying to earn his trust. If he needed a chance to come clean, this was me giving him one.

"What?!?!? NO!" he said, almost as if I had spoken in Latin to him. Al gave me another look before asking, "Then, what is it, Vish?" before leaning forward in her seat.

"Guys - I've spoken to my dad already and now I have Varun Uncle's permission and Nanny's blessing too", Vishwas explained, "I've been in touch with your boss, too, Harsh and this Friday, I'm proposing to Sneha."

"OH" I said

"My" said Alana - "God!!" we screamed together.
