Kaidou let out a long sigh, covering his face with his hands.
"I can't believe they just kicked me out", he muttered quietly. It was an accident but after several different failures and deaths, the team had gotten fed up and kicked him out. He wasn't very surprised though, he knew he wasn't the best player. He just hoped that this team gave him the experience to get better. He pulled up an internet tab and began looking for more information on the Legendary player. Now that he didn't have a team he decided to dedicate himself to finding them. And when he found them he would befriend them.

You let out another sigh, feeling a lot more angry than upset. You took a minute to take deep breaths before returning to the game.
_RedRumReaper_: Hey The_pinkfireball, do you have the shield I let you borrow? I need it back

_RedRumReaper_: Fine... but I want it back soon, okay?

You smiled lightly at your screen, maybe it wasn't so bad after all. Suddenly an enemy charged at xXCLOUD_SHOTXx, killing them with ease. All characters turned to you as xXCLOUD_SHOTXx exploded into flames, their items laying on the forest floor.
Xx_Icequeen_xX: Why did you protect her, _RedRumReaper_?!
That was it, it was all that you could handle. They had done enough, treated you like you were nothing and used you for your skills. You badly wanted to punch your computer screen but you held back.
_RedRumReaper_: You know what? F*** you, f*** all of you. You use me and treat me like sh*t, if you wanna do that then you're gonna have to find someone else because I'm not gonna take it anymore!

You fast travelled to a random location, not even caring where you were going. Your screen suddenly lit up, you had levelled up. "So I'm level 267 now", you chuckled quietly. You looked around and noticed that you were in Elderview again so you decided to walk around a little. You did a couple of small missions, giving a few rabbit skins to one of the merchants for a small amount of gold. With your small earnings, you decided to go to the tavern.
No one really went into the tavern since there was nothing to do in there except sit and buy virtual alcohol. You decided to go there, buy your character a pint and then go AFK for a little while to calm down. (AFK means away from keyboard if you didn't already know)
You entered the bar, your eyes widening when you saw another player inside. They sat at the bar, not moving. You approached them, taking a seat by their side.
"What can I get ya?", the bartender asked, cleaning a glass on a never-ending loop. You went through the list of drinks, buying one. Your character drank it, making a loud slurping sound. You nearly jumped out of your chair when the character beside you turned to look at you.
Jet_black_wings: Hey
You smiled lightly at your screen. This player seemed friendly enough and maybe they'd even let you blow off some steam by talking about what had just gone down.
_RedRumReaper_: Hi, what brings you to the abandoned bar?
Jet_black_wings: Bored I guess, I left my party so I don't really have anything to do right now
_RedRumReaper_: Wow really? I just left my party too. They were real jerks and kept taking my stuff and making me do all of the work
Jet_black_wings: Same here, I couldn't stand it any longer so I decided to just leave
_RedRumReaper_: Well it was nice to talk to you, I needed someone to rant to
Jet_black_wings: I needed it too
You got off your stool, letting out a quiet giggle.
_RedRumReaper_: Thanks for the talk
You went to leave the tavern but saw something else pop up in the chat.
Jet_black_wings: Wait!
You turned around, curious as to what they could want.
Jet_black_wings: I was wondering if you'd like to be friends, we're both alone now and I've been looking for a partner. I don't really care what level you are, I just want someone to have my back. You know? Someone I can trust
Jet_black_wings has invited you to join his party
Your smile grew even wider, he seemed nice and loyal too. Maybe he was just like you, someone in search of a friend.
