Beginning Chapt 34

•Steve's pov•

I laid my head down on the pillow then pulled the covers over me, stopping it at just my neck.

I looked up at the ceiling just thinking about the next day knowing the next day will be better.

I blinked a few times, the 10th blink I finally closed my eyes entirely almost drifting off to sleep.

I heard the door crack open but I didn't bother opening my eyes since I'm so exhausted and sleepy.

"Steve..you up?" I hear Bucky mumble as I heard his footsteps approach me.

I just raised my right eyebrow still my eyes are closed and it's really dark so he can't see my facial expressions.

"Just let me sleep." I mumbled as I shifted to my side,

"Tough day, huh?" Bucky says.

"Mhm.." I murmur back, I then felt Bucky's weight on the bed I could hear him shifting around he just slid into bed right beside me.

Then he pulled me against his chest, I just smiled I could feel his hair on my left shoulder.

I leaned back against him and pulled his arm around my waist our hands intertwined together, "Buck do you think our relationship will work out?" I asked finally speaking clearly.

"I mean, yes so far were doing good, don't you think?" I opened my eyes slightly just enough to see the lamp on the stand next to me.

"I just hope we end up being ok, I don't want us arguing or fighting.." I admitted.

"We won't fight, or argue.." Bucky says soothingly,

"Let's just take things slow.." I added,

But I know we won't take things slow we've already done things married couples would do..

Bucky sighs, I could tell he agrees, he removes our intertwined hands but still had his arm around my waist.

"Let's just sleep we'll discuss this all in the morning." Bucky mumbles tiredly.

I yawned "Yeah, goodnight Buck." He shifted a bit and I noticed his lips were placed on my forehead.

"Night Rodgers.." Bucky says, he laid back down beside me and wrapped his arm around me again.

I closed my eyes and started listening to Bucky's steady breathing.

I still can't believe I fell in love with my best friend it's almost hard to believe, This all feels naturally right..

I soon drifted off to sleep dreaming of nothing my mind completely left blink.

The day morning I woke up around 8:30am Bucky still laid under the covers asleep with light snores I walked to the bathroom taking a quick brisk shower.

Once I got out I put on some pair of blue jeans white socks a T-shirt and lastly my jacket fixed my hair a bit then I brushed my teeth.
