Chapter 48

Third person P.O.V 

Just as Master Mavis predicted. Chelia from Lamia Scale sent an attack (Y/N) 's way and was now standing on top of a lampost. 

"Hey, your that fire dragon girl from Fairytail aren't you. The one who's in love with that lighting guy, right?" Chelia asked pointing at her

" Yes, and your that sky god girl from Lamia Scale. Chelia right?" (Y/N) asked her 

" that's right, now get lost!" She jumped up into the air and threw an attack at her.

(Y/N)  blocked it but it was difficult since Chelia was really powerful. (Y/N)  just have to keep her busy until Gray gets here to help her. Of course (Y/N) can take Chelia on her own but she knew she had to trust and follow Master Mavis' plan if she wanted Fairytail to win this.

(Time Skip)

Chelia and (Y/N)  had been going back and for with our fight for quite a while now and it was getting boring.  Chelia suddenly pushed (Y/N)  back with her magic and she skidded to a stop  

" Wow. I gotta admit, your pretty powerful for your age. I'm impressed the kid."(Y/N) complimented her 

she smiled at her. " Thanks. Your pretty strong too, I'm glad I got to fight you. But just because I'm being nice to you, doesn't mean I'm going to let you win" she said 

" Wouldn't want it any other way. I'm going to win fair and square" (Y/N)  told her

They were about to go at it again but they were interrupted by Gray and Lyon. 

" Hey Gray, took you long enough. Have trouble getting back at Rufus " (Y/n) teased him 

He just smiled and shoved her slightly, laughing. 

"What happened to you Gray, you look a little rough," Lyon said teasingly at Gray.

"  Just taking care of some unfinished business, you know how it is." Gray shot back at Lyon before turning to address (Y/N) 

 "(Y/N).." 

" Yeah" 

"Let's take them out together" 

(Y/N)  smirked glad she was finally getting some action. 

(Time skip) 

" Your not as skilled as I am, but you are persistent" Lyon told Gray getting ready to throw another attack of ice magic at Gray 

"You still don't think I've  got any skills huh, check this out," Gray said also getting ready with another ice attack 

Lyon threw an attack at Gray who dodged it easily. 

"(Y/N)!" Gray called 

" Ready. Fire Dragon: Roar!" she yelled 

" Ice make Shot Gun!" Gray yelled 

They were about to hit Lyon but Chelia jumped in the way and blocked both attacks 

" Sky God: Dance!" She screamed 

Chelia and Lyon then started bickering. Chelia was complaining that Lyon wasn't fighting as well as he should be and Lyon just ignored her and started yelling to Gray about Juvia and the fact that he believes Gray doesn't deserve Juvia's love and devotion. (Y/N), honestly wasn't listening to them bicker and ran to start fighting Chelia. 

(Y/N) had spent this entire challenge wanting a fight and she was not going to let their little argument over Juvia stop her. 

Lyon threw a spell at Gray which was going to hit him if he didn't move.

" Gray watch out!" (Y/N)  yelled

Either he ignored her or was just not listening to her because he got hit full force by Lyons attack. 

Chelia noticed (Y/N) standing there and threw an attack her way pushing her back.

" Hey, don't forget we're supposed to be fighting her as well" Chelia complained to Lyon, pointing at (Y/N), who was now a few feet behind Gray. 

Lyon wasn't interested, he just wanted to fight Gray alone. 

" I'm leaving her to you.  Do what you must, I don't care, I just want to beat Gray and prove to Juvia that I'm better for her than Gray is." Lyon ordered Chelia 

while Chelia and Lyon were arguing again (Y/N) ran up to Gray. 

" Lyon's powerful, I really had no idea," she told him

But Gray smirk on his face.  Like he knew something (Y/N) didn't 

" Yeah, but he totally sucks at teamwork. Let's use that to our advantage" Gray suggested

(Time skip) 

Gray and (Y/N) have been fighting Chelia and Lyon for a while and it was getting really tiring. 

" Man, this is defiantly getting extinguishing," Gray said from beside (Y/N)

" I'm almost completely out of magic power" (Y/N) warned him

" Chelia, you take on (Y/N), I'll handle Gray," Lyon ordered the little girl. 

" what are you talking about, let's just finish them off as a team and get our points" Chelia once again complained to Lyon 

" I have no interest in fighting girls, now stop complaining and get on with it," Lyon told her getting impatient.

They continued arguing for a while as Gray and (Y/N)  just watched, amused 

Chelia then mentioned that if Lyon got hurt she would just heal him with her magic. 

"Healing magic?" (Y/N) gasped 

"Aw crap, I forgot that was something she could do " Gray groaned 

And for the millionth time during this fight, Chelia and Lyon started arguing again. 

Gray and (Y/N) shared a knowing look. 

" We found their weak spot and it's fetal. When it comes to teamwork, they got nothing on us. We're ending this, you with me?" Gray asked his teammate  

(Y/N) rolled her eyes and smiled

" If you think I'm going to back down from a fight, then you don't know me at all" she replied smirking 

Gray and (Y/N) stared casting their  spells, yelling 

" Let's go!" Gray yelled 

(Y/N) screamed in reply getting ready to attack, lighting her fist in fire.

Chelia was staring into space and Lyon was yelling at her trying to get her attention. 

" Fire dragon: Brilliant flame!" (Y/N) yelled 

" Ice Gizer!" Gray yelled 

Both of their attacks hit Chelia and Lyon head on sending them flying. 

The smoke cleared and Gray and (Y/N) smiled at each other in victory. 

They had won.
