(Y/N) ran straight to the plant shop and opened it in a hurry. She set her bag down on the front desk and hurried towards the back.
In the corner was one pot with dried marigolds. They didn't seem like they were dead yet, so she watered them in hopes that they wouldn't die.
Atleastthat'sgood, she thought and went back to the front, flipping the sign from 'closed' to 'open.'
"I have to change this as well, huh?" She muttered out loud as she looked at the chalkboard behind her. She had drawn a lily and what it symbolized on the board yesterday but she needed something new, "What should I do for today?"
(Y/N) thought of the hectic day she had and the friends she managed to make in the hero course. Her thoughts went to Uraraka, the sweet girl who held her hand when going in to the classroom.
She examined the hand and thought about the warmth of the girl's touch, which brought a smile to her face.
Sheseemedsopure, (Y/N) thought to herself and grabbed a white chalk.
On the board, she drew a carnation with the chalk to the best of her ability and wrote the meaning next to it.
White carnation, a symbol of innocence and pure love.
Perfect, she thought as a smile made its way to her lips and she put the board back in place.
(Y/N) knew that a plant shop wasn't a popular place among shoppers who weren't avid plant nerds and having a lot of customers was rare unless there was a special event.
Since it was Monday, neither Izuku nor Katsuki were going to be present.
In a way, she valued the peace but now that she was gradually getting used to having lively people around her, boredom was a frequent state of mind.
(Y/N) didn't know what the hero course was going to make her do tomorrow but she definitely had an idea about Present Mic's English course.
MaybeIcouldgetaheadstart, she thought as she pulled the curriculum out of her bag, Let'ssee, plurals, huh?
This way, she would know the material beforehand and, which could help her concentrate on the hero aspect more, and she could defeat her boredom.
It was like killing two birds with one stone.
Before she even had the chance to look at the first sentence, the wind chimes tinkled and she heard a feminine voice call out, "Oh, I recognize you. (L/N)-san, was it?"
