Bicycle rides up to the parks in the mountain's used to be a daily thing. I told myself I could become darker in skin tone if I stood in the sun to tan. I didn't work at all. I only got a very terrible sun burn each time. Spray tan? Gave me a rash. I hated looking this way. I stick out like a sore thumb.
Pale skin and black hair, but I live in Caldium.

I never was really bothered by appearance until I realized no one would come close to me. It's almost like I'm some type of disease. It doesn't bother me as much anymore. I just continue my day off normally. Pretending I'm deaf to all the whispers.

On a brighter note, tomorrow is the festival. I always love watching the couples from every part waltz together. As per every year we have a theme. This year is similar to a masquerade. I'm quite excited.

Finally, I can put on a mask and be like everyone.
