Back Story: Everyone is born with a black stain on their bodies. When the stain is touched by your soulmate it changes into different colors.

Y/n's POV:

Politics, politics, politics. That's all you'll ever know in these certain settings.

I looked down at my black-stained hand, no sign of my soul mate just yet. I was starting to think this soulmate thing was a whole joke, I've shaken several people's hands as in the political world that's all you do. Not a single person has ever been my soulmate, it was useless. These political parties can also get out of hand since they seem to occur every day. Putting on a fake smile to all those cracking jokes, I found none of this amusing anymore. After being in this profession for years upon years, they get old.

"Y/N! I would like for you to meet my sons, Douglas and T.J Hammond." Bud Hammond says standing in front of me, our parents were close, but I've never met their children in all these years. "Nice to meet you y/n, I'm Douglas." He says confidently going in for the handshake. Once again nothing. My hope was slowly fading. "I'm T.J, nice to meet you." He states also going in for a handshake. This was different, I've never felt this way before my hand was tingling. I could tell he felt the same way as he was holding up his hand. Suddenly at the same time, they started turning different colors. Shock took over my body, this day seemed like it would never come.

"Y-your my soulmate," T.J says with a stern tone. I was left in shock, I had no words. "I never thought this day would come!" He says with a little more excitement. I smile at him, "Me either honestly, I'm honestly so glad it's you." I blurt out. "Me too y/n, me too." He says.

This was a whole new beginning...
