XII- Her Fear

🌺Demi's Point of View:

Imbis na maexcite, napaparanoid ako sa paparating na event which will be a day away. Bukas na ang inaabangang dance production namin ni Harvey. It was the talk in school since yesterday. Kaya pala mahalaga din kay Harvey ang prod na 'yon, because it's his thanksgiving and homecoming to his alma mater and mentors who have supported his endeavors abroad. I knew that he had taken up music too when he was still studying. See? We have a lot of things in common.

"Bessy, kalma lang. Ikaw kaya ang pinakamagaling sumayaw na kilala ko."Keam consoled me. She really knows what I feel even if I don't confide it. Nalalaman niya nalang talaga.

"I'm scared bess. I'm scared like really scared. Kasi, kilala mo naman ako. Nothing distracts me when it comes to dancing."

"Yep. What happened this time?"

"Ah." Napakagat ako ng labi. "I've discovered my distraction. Just lately."

"Wait. Demiteyr, are you in love?"

"Oh. No. That's not possible! Hindi ka pwedeng main-love sa taong ilang araw mo lang nakilala."I retorted, I even laughed at her.

"That's where you are wrong. You know me and Camden. We fell in love on the first time we laid our eyes on each other."

Ugh. That's really so corny everytime she says that. Napailing ako. Hindi ako in-love! Just because that jerk kissed me? Lol, no. Kung maiinlove man ako, mas mabuti pang kay Harvey. Tss.

"Hi ladies."

Naestatwa ako sa kinauupuan ko nang marinig ang pagbati na 'yon. No. Why is he heeeeeeeereeee? What the hell is he doing? Ugh! Keam stood up, smiling at the jerk as a greeting.

"Can I talk to your friend here, Keam?"

"Sure./No!"we answered in unison. Tumayo ako at hinarap si McDonalds. "No. Busy ako! I'm late!"sabi ko pa sabay sukbit ng bag ko sa balikat ko. "May klase pa ako."

Sheeeeet. Saan naman ako pupunta e wala naman akong klase? Ugh. Why is my bestfriend betraying me? She left and let the jerk chase me! How could she! Ugh.

"What's this loser? Is this still about the kiss?"

"No. Eww. I didn't even think about it for the whole week that I didn't see you. Nope. It didn't cross my mind."

He smiled which confused me. What was that for anyway? Wala naman akong makitang dahilan na dapat niyang ngitian o ikasaya.

"Why are you blushing?"he asked which made me furious.

"Eww! I'm not blushing!"

"Tss. Here. I brought you flowers."

Napatingin ako sa hawak niya. Totoo ngang may dala siyang bulaklak. Anak ng— Why would he give me flowers!?

"Technically, I have to act as your boyfriend. Ayaw kitang mapahiya. Everyone in your school knows me."

"Nope. Feeler ka lang. Walang nakakakilala sa'yo."

"Oh my gosh! Is that Wyatt?"a girl from a distance squealed.
What?

"Oh no. Siya nga! Kaya ba siya nandito dahil kay Demi? Ugh. She 's so lucky."

"So? Will you take the flowers or I'll just give this to the girls?"tanong niyang nagpairap sa'kin. Kasabay no'n, kinuha ko sa kanya ang bulaklak na hawak niya.

Ba't naman nila kilala si Wyatt? Don't tell me, kilala na nila siya kahit no'ng inaangkin ko siya? Gosh. Nakakahiya! Kaya naman pala iniisip ng Wyatt na 'to, intensiyon kong paghiwalayin sila ng girlfriend niya. Tsk.
