(Y/N) P.O.V

"You're foolish, thinking you can escape" the voice said over the speakers

Jeff growled "who do you think you are?!"
"Now, the question is, who do YOU think you are? Why should you two be kept alive?" The voice chuckled.
I shivered, this felt oddly familiar, yet I can't pinpoint if something similar has ever happened, I looked at Jeff, to see if he felt the same. but, he just looked at me with a concerned look.
"What's wrong Jeff..?" I asked concerned
"Do you.. Remember something weird particularly?" Jeff bit his lip
"What? I, uh, I don't think so? W-why?" His behaviour change made me concerned
"Nothing.! That's good.." He looked at the floor
"If you say so..." I sighed, I feel like he's hiding something from me.. I'm gonna ask him when we get out of this. If we do...

"Jeff... We have to get out of here now, the longer we stay, i don't know, I'm getting a headache being here.." I whispered.
He nodded nervously, it annoyed me how nervous he seemed after I told him I got headaches and stuff.

I sighed "Why.. why are we here?" i was hoping to get a response,

"I want to find out how, and why, some as insane as you two, can have feelings for someone else, and there, you two are the perfect example to test that on" The voice muttered

"h-how?" I continued

"although, I can't promise you survive" the voice ignored my question and kept talking
"I might need to... dissect you both"

"Dissect us?! what the fuck!?" I yelled "What kind of animals do you think we are?"

The voice seemed to ignore me

"Jeff, we gotta get out of here, now." I whispered, Jeff nodded

Jeff looked around for anyway we could escape, he noticed the girl was sorta hiding. He signalled me to look at her, she was clutching some keys in her hand. I made eye contact with her, she looked up, I followed her look to see a flickering light.

"I have an idea, you see that flickering light up there? it must be flickering because this lab uses so much energy! which means, we could make a total blackout!" I whispered to Jeff

"Let's try it, although, we would need a knife or something, to cut these ropes.." Jeff replied

And as if the girl had heard us, She slid a knife over behind me, making sure she wasn't seen. I felt the knife, and some sort of note attached? I managed to get the note in my back pocket after cutting the ropes around my wrists.

I quickly stood up and turned up the power on a nearby machine

"NO!" the voice screeched 

I ran to Jeff and cut his ropes as well, and just as he stood up the power went out.
I grabbed his hand and ran, I had no idea which way I was going, but i figured, if we just continue straight. we'll hit a door or a window to the outside.

We ran for what felt like 3 minutes, in a straight line, before we got to a window, without hesitation, we jumped out.

it was around a one or two floors we fell, but we both landed relatively well, i think...
