Y/N was currently back at her house preparing for the ceremony later that night and he already missed her desperately, the last thing he really wanted to do was leave her alone especially with the rival pack sitting on the outskirts of their territory but after escorting her safely home the two were greeted by her father so he felt better leaving knowing she was somewhat protected.
The following morning Taehyung was dragged by six eager wolves through their favourite part of the forest, there was nothing like running with his brothers.

The forest doesn't care for seconds or minutes, even hours are inconsequential. The smallest measure of time here is the cycle of daylight and darkness. Even then the forest is more in tuned with the seasons, rebirth brought by the warmth of spring, darkened foliage from a summer kiss, the onset of fall and then the keen bite of winter. Perhaps that's why Taehyung loved to be here, it stabilizes the rapidity of his thoughts, keeps him steady. It's a place where he can let go of the demands of daily life, just him and his brothers.
He watches as the leaves twist and turn, down they come like multicoloured rain. Golds, reds and browns. They're myriad of shapes and sizes, these leaves that clothed the trees. Now they are discarded like last seasons fashions and left to become part of the soil. But before that happens they make the most splendid mosaic that is unique to this world, yet he's here to witness it with his pack beside him.
Later that night the woman he loves will officially become his mate.
He was ready to give all he was to her.

It was roughly two hours later that they returned home but Taehyung's day was far from over, once the pack showered and dressed the house ready for the ceremony they again dragged him away from the house and piled inside one of their new trucks.
Jin was driving, the rest of the pack grabbed a seat where they could, the car was smaller compared to their usual one but Taehyung didn't care so long as it took him back to his destination.
"I'm really nervous Jimin." He admitted as they left the forest.
"Y/N loves you Tae, so long as you love her that's all that matters. It'll be fine, whatever happens we'll face it together as a family. I'll never let anything happen to you or her, we're all here to stand with you so enjoy your day celebrating with us before you see Y/N again."
Taehyung knew Jimin was right, it was pointless to worry about the rival gang as they still hadn't made their move yet and it also wasn't fair to Y/N for him to be focusing on these doubts the day of their mating ceremony.
Jimin reached across to play some music, the seven brothers singing loudly and with no care in the world for who could possibly see. It was just them, doubts and concerns vanishing as the ocean eventually greeted them.

The ocean shore lies jagged, the rocky outcrops a torn piece of paper where they meet the rushing waves. The shore is everything at once, every sense bombarded in a way that brings Taehyung's mind to elevated thought. Eyes open there is every shade of blue before him, every shade from white to browns and greys at his feet when he jumps down from the truck. Eyes closed there is the cool breeze, stealing warmth, giving him the taste and smell of the brine.
"RACE TO THE OCEAN!" Jungkook shouts, laughing when all six take his challenge.

With every step the sand shifted, with every motion forward there was some backward and down, just like walking in fresh fallen snow. Yet unlike the crystalline blanket of white the fine grains under foot give the seven warmth from the suns rays. Like their sky bound benefactor they're yellow, as if the sunshine itself is trapped inside. Despite the heat Taehyung finds himself frozen in place once his eyes take in the ocean. The waves roll in white tipped, spreading themselves like fine lace over the beach after they crash in their soft way. There's nothing noisy about them, yet they have sound. Taehyung wanted to bring Y/N here, she probably already knew about this place but the two hadn't ever been together and he wanted to change that.
They had all the time in the world to do whatever they wanted.
The seven brothers forgot doubts and banished concerns, for one day they allowed themselves to be happy and worry free.
