i worked today, and one of the customers that came in was this elderly man
he was alone, but he asked for a table for two
he ordered just for himself tho, and when i brought his food to him i found he had a small picture frame set up on the opposite side of the table from him, and there was a picture of a woman in it
he told me it was their 45th anniversary
i felt like crying
