The next day I spend a few hours doing school, since it was a monday, after being done with all of my classes, a text from Ruel came in.

After his last text, I decided to freshen up a bit, I hurried to brush my brows through with some color, I ran my fingers through my hair, and sprayed a bit of my floral perfume on.

I grabbed my skinny denim jeans, a white tee with a print of N*sync on, and my white slip on Vans.

I went downstairs, and sat next to Badar in the kitchen. "You going out?" he looked at my sudden state, of looking somewhat presentable.

"Do I need to have a reason to put on clothes?" I was just playing with him, but I don't think he realized.

"No, no it's just-"

"I'm kidding, Ruel is picking me up" I chuckled, getting up from my seat to get some strawberries from the fridge.

"Your boyfriend" he wiggled his brows at me, at this point he had teased me ever since I had gotten home from Ruel's.

So I just shrugged and went back to my seat, not with a bowl filled with strawberries.

"It's not even fun to tease you anymore" he pouted taking one of my strawberries, I slapped his hand, so he dropped it.

"Pick it up doggo" I pointed at the berry.

He gave me the finger just as a car honked outside. "Bye" I waved before leaving the kitchen.

I closed the door, and turned around the be faced with an unknown car, and Ruel in the passenger seat.

"Hey" I greeted the driver and Ruel as I entered the car.

"Why didn't you sit in the back with me?" I asked Ruel as we walked towards the coffee shop, that he wanted to go to.

"Because it's bad manners to sit in the back" he answered. "In America it's weird to get in next to the driver" I told him.

"That actually makes sense" he laughed holding the door for me. "What a gentleman" I grinned walking past him.

He lead me to a table for two in the back.

We both sat down, funny enough.

"This is your favorite coffee shop?" I asked looking at the 'menu' aka a piece of paper describing their coffees and sweets.

"Yeah it's simple but amazing" he said watching me carefully. "You're staring" I commented with a small smile.

"I know"

His statement couldn't do anything but make me smile widely from ear to ear.

"Okay mister charming what would you recommend?" I tied my short hair into a small messy bun.

"I like your hair like that" he didn't answer my question. "Well thanks you" my cheeks turned crimson at all of his few but thoughtful words.

"I'd recommend their lattes and do you know what you're having?" he then answered my question, and asked me one.

"Okay, I'll have one of those lattes with almond milk and-" I looked at the other side of the paper, to find a bowl of fruit and berries, and a lot of other things.

"-A bowl of fruit and berries" I told him.

"Great" he got up from our spot to order.

You couldn't help but notice him, he was enormous, yeah australians were tall, be there's tall and then Ruel, guys grow till they're 21, so he had a long way to go.

I smiled when he came back with two lattes, one in a dark forest green cup and the other in a tan beige cup.

"Which is mine?"

"Take a guess" he challenged me, I would have gone for the forest green one, but it seemed to obvious, so I went for the beige one.

"Wrong" he laughed, handing me the green one.

"Green for the vegan, as the lady said" he chuckled.

"It's forest green" I couldn't help myself from correcting him. "Shut up" he mumbled taking a sip of his latte.

"Well you have your reasons, guys have higher risk of being color blind or having dyslexia" I told him.

"How so?" he leaned forward.

"Well the female body consists of two X chromosomes and the male body consist of an X and a Y chromosome" I started telling him.

What surprised me was the fact that he actually seemed interested.

"The female chromosomes can fix each other because they're the same, so if on of the X'es has a failure, the other X fixes it-" Ruel nodded for me to continue.

"The male chromosomes are different, so they can't fix each other" I ended my telling. I did the simple but yet true explanation.

"Is that like something you know a lot about, or?" he asked, just as a guy came with a fruit ball and a sandwich.

"Well I don't know much more about that topic, but I know that every guy once have been a female" I told him.

I couldn't help but laugh when I saw his reaction.

"Are you kidding or are you being for real?" he asked thanking the waiter for the food. "No why would I lie?"

"Well I don't know, you tell me"

"We all start of as females, but as we grow in our mothers stomach some of slowly develop a you know what" I couldn't get myself to say it, I don't know why.

"Dick?"

"Yeah that" Ruel started laughing at my reaction at the word.
