"Queen Falcon", I mumbled after watching something on youtube.

"Deans? Ano yun? Sorry bingi eh", sagot ng bestfriend slash enemy (charot!) kong si Ponggay

"Just saw Jema Galanza", I handed her my phone to let her check it.

"Ah! Si Ate Jema. Ganda ng boses noh?", she smirked while saying.

Wag kang mag-alala
Di ko ipipilit sa'yo
Kahit na lilipad
Ang isip ko'y torete sa'yo

"Oo nga eh", I bit my lower lip which I hope she didn't notice.

"Uy! Kinakabahan naman ako sayo haha! Tama na nga to", I grabbed my phone and disattached my earphones immediately and rolled over my bed.

"Well, she's hot naman haha! I can't believe you met her. Psh", dagdag niya pa habang hawak ang isang unan ko.

"She's super hot. Aish"

Everything went black.

Flashback

"Deanna! Ano ba? Why can't you be like other people? Why can't you be... Why can't you be", a familiar voice told me

"Be what? Be straight? Damn! I can't be straight, Dad! I can't be. I tried! I swear to God that I tried!", I answered him full of frustration and anger hanggang sa hindi ko namalayang nakahiga na pala si Dad sa sahig dahil sa heart attack.

End of Flashback

He immediately passed away dahil na rin sa bagal ng responde and that mainly because he had enough. Maybe he's tired. Tired of me.

"Daaaaaaaaad!", agad akong napabangon sa hinihigaan ko. I'm sweating real bad.

"Dad, I'm sorry", mangiyak-ngiyak kong sabi sa hangin. It had been 2 years from now but everything seems so fresh, parang kahapon lang ang lahat.

Naaalala ko pa na dahil sa sobrang lungkot and guilt ko sa nangyari, I decided to move out.

I left Cebu

I left home.

I left my family because of guilt and disappointment.

There's nothing there but despair so when I had the chance to play at a very prestigious school in Manila, I grabbed the opportunity not minding what I will leave behind.

Agad akong bumangon sa higaan.

I fixed my self.

I wanted to escape reality bcoz that's what I'm good at.

I'm always escaping things.

I wanted to go somewhere else para malibang kaya nagpaalam ako kana coach magpapahangin muna and then kay Captain.

"Be back before the curfew", Captain Maddie reminded me. Tumango na lang ako habang naglalakad paalis.

"Wait up!" sigaw ni Ponggay.

"What? May kailangan ka ba?", tanong ko sa bestfriend.

Wala wala, ingat ka ha. If u need a hand, pull yours haha!

She ran back to her room without even looking at me exactly heating up, wanting to choke her.

Whatever.
I told myself and went outside.
