Chapter 32

I opened my eyes and moved a bit but I remained frozen nang maramdaman kong hindi ako nag-iisa. The creature smiled at the confused me and started checking my facial features.
She held her face with both hands and asked me a lousy question.

"Hi love. Cute ko noh?", she mouthed.

"Hindi", madiin kong sagot.

I saw her mood change from bright to dim kaya naman itinuloy ko na ang sinasabi ko.

"Hindi ka cute kasi ikaw ang pinakacute, pinakamaganda, pinaka-appealing at pinakasexy sa lahat", I told her while caressing her cheek. Her eyes twinkled and I think she just blushed. Damn.

"Bolera", sagot niyang habang naka-smile.

Bigla namang may kumatok sa pinto at halos sirain niya na ang pintuan.

"LOVE BIRDS!", sigaw ni Ponggay.

"Ang aga niya naman yata", I said na medyo irritated. Tinulugan ko na nga tong bebe ko tapos may asungot pa na manggugulo ngayong ayos na ang mood.

Bumangon na si Jema para buksan ang pinto and she welcomed Pongs with a warm embrace. Sumunod na rin ako. Under eh.

"GUYSSSSSS!!!!", bungad niya.

"oh?",  irritated kong tanong habang nandon pa rin kami sa may pintuan dahil wala ata siyang balak pumasok.

"Alam niyo na ba ang balita?",  she looked at me then to Jema then back at me again.

"Sinong darating na presidente?", Jema sarcastically asked habang nakakunot na ang noo dahil naeexcite yata.

Huminga naman ng malalim si Ponggay bago magsalita.

"She'll be back in the Philippines", maikli niyang tugon habang nakikipagtitigan sa amin.

"Sino?", curious kong tanong kahit na sa totoo lang parang nakakaramdam na ako ng kaba. Para kasing si ano ang tinutukoy niya the way she looks at me.

"You're tensed, Pongs. Sino ba siya? Ex ba yan ni Deans?", seryosong tanong ni Jema.

"For the record, ikaw lang naging ex niya. Flings na ang iba haha!", agarang sagot ni Ponggay.

"So sino nga?", tanong namin ni Jema.

"Si Fhen", she mouthed and bit her lower lip.

Jema's face brightened up but I can't be happy for her right now. I must admit I still feel insecure every time naririnig ko ang pangalan ni Fhen. Her happiness slowly brings coldness to my heart. Ayaw ko mang magpahalata, bumabalot na yata ang yelo sa pagkatao ko.

"Really?! Kailan daw?", excited na tanong ni Jema kay Ponggay.

"After  yata ng UAAP eh. Baka March", sagot ni Ponggay  sa kaniya.

"5 months more", Jema bit  her lower lip while counting with her fingers.

I faked a smile as soon as she stared at me. She looks so happy with the idea of Fhen coming back. How I wish she will always feel that way with me kahit isang araw lang kaming hindi magkakasama. Arte ko  ba? Siguro ganon talaga.

"Movie marathon na ba tayo?",  segway ni Ponggay. Matalino talaga babaeng to at madaling makiramdam.

"O-okay", sagot ko and we headed na muna sa kusina to prepare some foods tapos nagsimula na sa panonood.

After few hours

"May kirot yung Sin Island", Ponggay mentioned while she eats popcorn.

"Yeah! Maganda yung twist", dagdag ni Jema "Uy love, what do you think?" tanong niya sakin.

"I hope that people can have the guts to accept each other despite everything that has happened kagaya ng mag-asawa sa movie", sagot ko habang nakatitig kay Jema.

"Love, ang serious naman po", pabiro niyang sabi and she kissed my forehead.

"Gotta go ha? May lakad lang. Bye", mentioned Pongs while running wild.

Jema's phone suddenly rang. She let it out from her pocket  and looked at me to get permission. I nod my head and then she answered the call.

"Yes, hello?", she asked the caller with her usual sweet voice.

One glance and I can say that something changed. Nawala ang mga ngiti at tawa niya. We started getting disturbed but neither Ponggay  or me moved. Her aura is too much to handle now but after she ended the call, she hugged me while crying on my chest.
