Chapter 4

I am now approaching BEG for the training.

I told Ceddy to tease her. Short tempered kasi masyado kaya laging mukhang haggard eh.

Baby mo mukha mo! Byeeee
humarurot na siya paalis after makipag beso. She thanked me.for being with her but then nagreklamo Dahil nagpalibre ako.

Dumiretso lang ako habang lutang na lutang ang utak so I could shake all the negativities off .

That's when I heard a ball bouncing.

"May mas maaga pa sakin? Grabe ha. I thought I'm an early bird na", I told myself while walking near the origin of the noise. I saw a familiar figure pero hindi ako sure kung sino siya. All I know is taga Ateneo siya because of her blue jacket.

Lumingon siya sa position ko when she realized that she's not alone and there I noticed how damned she is for the reason I don't want to know just yet.

"Oh. Sorry", she uttered while scratching her head. Nakayuko pa siya kaya hindi ko masyadong makita ang reaction niya.

"It's fine, no biggie. May training ba kayo? ", I replied while giving her a shy smile.

Unti-unti niyang inangat ang ulo niya and she scanned me for a long time. Hindi ko alam but she's starting to get weird.

"I said kung may training kayo?", inulit ko na lang kasi di sya sumasagot.

"W-wala", she smiled while playing with the ball with her fingers pero hindi pa rin tinatanggal ang tingin sakin. Hindi ko alam pero bigla siyang nalungkot.

"I'm Deanna by the way", she added and offered her right hand to me.

"I'm",

"JEMAAAAAAAA!", ate mylene shouted while running.

"Eh? Ate? Bakit ka ba tumatakbo?", I curiously asked her.

"Wala lang naman. Sino yang kasama mo?", she asked while pointing at the new face.

"Hi po. I'm Deanna from ADMU. I'm sorry that I bothered you. Aalis na po ako. Thank you sa court", she said and then left the both of us.

Napansin ko yong bracelet na nasa floor at pinulot yon but she already had her way outside the building.

"Ate, wait lang ha? Isasauli ko lang to", hindi ko na narinig ang sinabi ni ate, I just went on with a sprint hanggang sa maabutan ko siya.

"Deanna! Wait up", exhausted kong sabi.

"Huh? B-bakit?", gulat nyang tanong habang nakangiti lang naman siya sakin na parang ewan. Ang creepy.

"Ito oh,  nalaglag mo kasi. Iaabot ko lang sana" I told her as I handed the bracelet. She gave a sweet smile afterwards.

"Thank you, Queen Falcon. I owe you one", her voice came alive while she spoke.

"It's okay. Sige ha? May training pa kasi ako", I waved at her at tumalikod but wait... I can't move. I can't even step my right foot.

She's hugging me.

"Queen", at kumalas rin afterwards.

I faced her while giving an awkward smile.

"Deanna, Jema na lang. And don't hug a stranger kasi baka masapak ka haha", I told her while laughing a bit

"Jema. Okay. I like you", she told me in a straight forward manner.

"You like me?', I asked her. Grabe ha pagkameet pa lang namin ganito agad? Ganito ba mga Atenista?

"I like you-r name. Jema. It fits you", she said shyly at napakamot ng ulo.

"Okay! Pabitin pala haha I see my teammates. Gotta run! Bye Deanna", I ran like a mad horse dahil baka magsisimula na ang training namin. I waved at Deanna habang papalayo.

"Wow, she's one weird person", I told myself while sprinting.
