- Narrator's POV -
Meanwhile

"I want to buy Molly something nice." Jimin says with Namjoon walking by his side.

"Like what?" Namjoon asks, picking at the bag of sweet bread he bought from a street vendor in the streets of Tokyo.

"A necklace." He simply says.

"Okay." Namjoon says, his mouth full of bread. "I know the perfect place-"

"If you don't mind," Jimin places his small hand on Namjoon's bicep, stopping him in his tracks. "I'd like to go alone."

"Alright." Namjoon smiles, knowing how sentimental Jimin was about these kinds of things. He knew Jimin liked to take his time and perfect everything he did. Especially when it was about Molly. "I'll see you back at the hotel."

After thanking his friend, they parted way.

Hiding his face from others walking around him, he walked into a jewelry store.

"How can we help you?" A woman standing behind the glass counter asked, speaking in Japanese.

"I'm looking for a necklace for my girlfriend." He said, speaking in Japanese.

The woman smiled, moving from her position and walking to the counter adjacent to her.

Jimin followed her, glancing at the jewelry, nicely secured in the glass counter.

The shimmering of a beautiful ring band with diamonds incrusting every inch on the ring caught Jimin's eye.

He stopped, leaning over the counter to get a better look at the ring. The glowing of the diamonds on the ring reflected off of Jimin's eyes as he examined the beauty and delicateness of the ring.

"Sir," the woman called, pulling Jimin out of the trance.

"I'm sorry." He apologized. "Could I see this one instead?"

The woman made her way to the counter in front of Jimin, taking the keys wrapped around her neck and unlocking the sealed, glass box.

"This one?" She asked, pointing at the ring that caught Jimin's eye. He nodded softly, never taking his eyes off the ring.

He pinched the ring in between his thumb and index finger, taking it from the woman. The ring was small in his hands, perhaps not making it all the way through his pinky.

A smile formed on his lips as he imagined Molly wearing the ring on her small, delicate finger.

"It's beautiful." He smiled. "I'll take it."

She smiled, grabbing a booklet that was resting at the edge of the counter. She flipped through the pages, finally landing on the page she was searching for.

"What kind of diamond would you like to top the engagement ring?"

"Engagement ring?" He asked, finally looking away from the ring and meeting the woman's eyes.

His mind suddenly went to him kneeling before her as he presented her the ring with a huge diamond on it. Then to her wearing the ring as she walked down the aisle in white.

Perhaps the reason why he was so mesmerized by the ring was not because of the small diamonds that wrappped around the ring, but because he could see Molly wearing the ring.

"Sir," the woman called. "What shape and size would you like the diamond?" She asked. "These are the styles and sizes we have." She said, pointing at the booklet.

He knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Molly.

But he thought it was too soon to propose.

Despite the nervousness he felt when talking about marriage, he smiled, because he knew that one day, he would get down on one knee and propose to her.

"Can I buy it like this and come back to add the diamond?" He asked.

The woman smiled, nodding her head. "Yes. Take your time and come back when you've made up your mind."

He walked out of the jewelry store, with a bag that was too large and too expensively made to carry a small velvet box with a ring.

He walked down the streets of Tokyo with a beautiful smile plastered on his lips as he though about Molly.

Jimin comfortably sits on the couch in their lounge room, head thrown back and legs spread open.

He couldn't shake the thoughts out of his head. They had him going crazy in his mind. Yet he was happy about having such thoughts.

"I've been thinking about..." Jimin says, catching the younger one's attention. "about Molly... and myself. And about when it would be a best to propose to her."

The younger one's eyes widen in disbelief, eyebrows raising as well. The ends of his lips curve upwards, forming a smile on his lips.

"Propose." Jungkook says. "It's a good idea. You both are reallyyyyy in love." Jimin laughs as the younger one puts emphasis on his words, making him sound funny. "You're ready. You are."

Jimin smiles, happy he heard the words he wanted to hear.

You're ready.

His thoughts were still driving him crazy.

He was scared. He was scared of the strong feelings that he was feeling for her after being with her for what others would call "a short while". But he didn't care. He knew the feelings he had were real. He knew only she could make him feel this way.

This is what real love.

Jimin pushes himself off the couch. Singing the chorus of 'Am I wrong', he follows Jungkook out the room.
