The Night

Up in the place that consumes the light,
Because it has it's own night lights,
But this one, this night sleep doesn't seduce me,
Pulling me into their arms comforting me to a comfortful sleep,
There is no mess made out of the sheets,
No tossing and turning,
Just my eyes on faceless ceiling,
With blue lights confronting the darkness of the room,
Being the audience of the same song on repeat all night,
"Fire on fire would normally kill us"
But the dark of the night is surely within us,
Compared to light, which people only see flicker,
Motionless letting the passion of one person bounce off these walls,
One I can relate to so well,
These hours are mine,
Hours that I am a regular to,
Stomping grounds of the peaceful night,
Great cause no matter how many times I stomp, it only emits tapping sounds,
Like I'm walking on clouds,
Full of ice and rain,
Waiting for a call,
But realizing it would never be made,
So just as the light surely fades,
Brightness inside me dimmed down,
It's ok though,
This peaceful tune when the music gets silent,
Mixed with the nightly silence,
Has beauty showing its defiance,
To the dark night that has it's own beauty it wishes to show,
Darkness against the beautiful voice of the night,
Pur together inspite the lack of light,
Beauty is what people often say is within,
But this is true beauty within my vision,
That courses through my veins as well as my senses,
Yeah that fire would normally kill us,
But I like this tone and this wonderful image,
Beauty that cannot be controlled,
Beauty that's in a place of its own,
To people this is just a sleepless night,
But I like the look outside,
Wishing to be one with it,
The night,
Not the silent one,
Or the violent one,
But the one that holds your eyes,
Filled with starry skies,
Of beauty over peace,
Cause this passion within is beating harder than whatever peace has overcome,
From an awkward silence,
To people watching something beautiful or disastrous,
Night on light,
Be it light of day or light of midnight,
I'll be here consuming the same beauty that consumes me,
With it's beautiful tone and gorgeous sight,
This is the beauty of the night.
