Deidara - You're pretty good aren't you? 

*Deidara - Now that's a handy Jinchuriki*

Deidara - But how'd you know I was the intruder?

Gaara - There are no birds like that one in this desert.

Deidara - Is that so?

Kankuro is walking down the hall with another shinobi

Kankuro - Hey! What was that noise earlier?! You're supposed to report immediately if something happens Wh-What happened? Lord Kazekage What do you mean something strange got into the village?! Captain Yura was supposed to have tightened village security.

Shinobi - Actually we have been unable to contact Captain Yura.

Kankuro - Come again?!

Sasori - That Deidara had to go and turn this into a circus. Yura. You head on back. Things will get complicated if the guys from the village find you here.

Yura - Yes, Lord Sasori.

Sasori - Get a move on, Deidara. I don't like to be kept waiting.

Kankuro knocked on Gaara's office door

Kankuro - Gaara! I'm coming in!

When he went inside there was no sign of him

Kankuro - Where'd he go?

A shinobi walked behind him causing Kankuro to turn around

Shinobi - Kankuro, the Kazekage is fighting up in the sky.

Kankuro - Wh-What did you say?

He ran to the window to see Gaara and one of the Akatsuki in the sky. Deidara, on his bird, and Gaara, on his sand, where facing each other

Deidara - Well so much for a covert operation. But now I don't have to bother looking for you anymore!

Gaara raised his hands and gathered all the sand from the ground

Deidara - He's got the advantage, as expected. This is a real mess.

Kankuro and many other shinobi ran to the middle of town right under Gaara and his opponent

Kankuro - Gaara

Gaara's sand hand was following Deidara and was closing in

Deidara - It's almost time.

His hands ate the clay and formed tiny clay birds. Deidara turned around and headed straight for Gaara. At the last second he turned around then stopped to go back to facing toward Gaara

Deidara - The real show's about to begin.

Deidara released the birds and they blew up Gaara's sand but then his sand formed back to original

*Gaara - There! He uses strange explosives And he's able to guide them, huh?* 

Deidara - I've pretty much got it now.

Deidara created more clay birds and guided them towards Gaara's sand

Deidara - This time with feeling

The birds grew in size then when close to the Gaara they blew up

Kankuro - Gaara!

Deidara - It's just like an eggshell protecting what's inside. But it's incredible that he was able to block the explosion completely.

Deidara was paying so much attention on Gaara enclosed in the sand that he didn't notice the sand surrounding him about to close in on him
