Wes:
Everything is planned out, the hotel, the car, and we leave tomorrow. All that's left is to find a Tuxedo and a dress fit for a wedding but I left Aria with that since she was dying to help with at least one thing. I look up from my emails and see Aria pacing around her kitchen from our adjacent windows. I grab my phone from next to me and dial her number. She was the first number I made sure I got after getting my new phone. Considering what happened to the old one... She jumps, startled by her phone ringing. She looks through her window right into mine.
Aria: "I didn't realize you spent your free time watching me," she laughs.
Wes: "You seemed stressed and nervous so I wanted to help."
Aria: "I'm just really uneasy about this whole wedding thing like I haven't seen everyone in months and my parents and I didn't end on the best of terms."
Wes: "What happened?"
Aria: "They didn't want me to move to California because they thought it would be a disgrace to them they figured the only time I would come home was if I needed money or on drugs."
Wes: "That's horrible that they would think that of you."
Aria: "You're telling me, I spent my entire life pretending to be something I'm not, something they wanted me to be."
Wes: "They can't stay mad at you forever, I mean come on you've made such a good life for yourself."
Aria: "Yeah after my string of shitty ex's and ungrateful friends."
Wes: "It made you stronger though, I don't know anyone else who can go through what you have and be that successful, you took your dreams and made them a reality."
Aria: "Wes, have you packed yet? Because knowing you I have a feeling."
Wes: "I kinda need your help with that... See I don't know what it's like there so I don't know what to wear."
Aria: "I'll be there in a few." She hangs up. I smile, something about makes me melt completely. She's so beautiful and kind. She's so small compared to me. I really like her all this time I've spent with her has made me realize my feelings for her. I want to protect her. To shelter her. To keep her safe. I want her to be mine. I'm gonna tell her this weekend. My door swings open and I see the happy face I love so much. She pulls on my arm as I get up.
"C'monnnn hurry uppp," she whines. I stand and tower over her.
"You're such a child," I laugh.
"Says the one with a cabinet full of sweets!"
"Oh hush," I say and head down my hallway. I made sure to clean my house in my free time. The mess was starting to stress me out more than normal. Plus I gotta impress Aria. She skips down the hallway behind me. I stop abruptly causing her to run into my back. I laugh as she huffs.
"Rude!" she growls and tries to shove me but I stand my ground. We walk to my room and she plops right down on my bed. She's so comfortable around me. That's really hard to find in someone. I go to my closet and pull out the clothes I was unsure of wearing. I hold each item in front of me.
"No," she says pointing to certain items. This goes on for a few minutes until she gets distracted.
"You wear glasses?" She asks playing with the case.
"Yeah sometimes, if I really need them." She kneels on the end of the bed in front of me and puts the glasses on me.
"You look good in them, really handsome." I blush. She stands there for what seems like forever. Her arms resting lightly on my shoulders and her crystal blue eyes staring at me as if I was a painting hung in a museum. Even kneeling on my bed she was slightly shorter than me. She slowly brings her face closer to mine, her eyes flickering as her expression changes to one I have never seen on her before. Then I do something I figured I wouldn't do for a long time. I...
