Separation

Where is mom? I don't know,

I'm still stuck hiding down below

I remember a time where all was peaceful,

Where nothing was deceitful

But now it's chaos

Why can't it go back to the way it was?

What did we do wrong? I don't understand

I've fallen, can't someone give me a hand?

Where is dad? Why did he go,

Where he went, I don't know

I miss them so very much,

I miss their loving touch

I feel empty inside without them here,

The last thing she said was, "I love you, dear."

I don't know what to do now, should I give in?

No...the last thing he said was, "Don't let them win."

I don't know how much longer,

I don't know if I can keep getting stronger

But for them, I'll fight,

I'll fight to the day everything is right
