Rotting Delusion

How far foolish will you be,

Until you see,

All the scars you've left on me

In my blood, in my skin,

Seems like your demons always win,

So until then

Please stay away,

It's getting harder to handle your toxic nature every day,

And killing me with all the delusions you say

You toss fuel into a fire,

One you set with your own desire,

And refuse to believe it was only you and your own pyre

Do you see it rotting all around,

The peace, the nature, the sound,

And I'm left here on the ground

While you stand there and scream,

That all of it was because of me, these rotting seams,

But it was you, and you're caught up in your misconcepted dream

I can no longer yell,

Because it's nothing but skewed lies you tell,

And it only shows how far I fell

Do you remember what we were before,

It all I think when one of us walks out the door,

I'm not so sure anymore

You have not deserved all the love and defense,

From all that adore a person so dense,

Hence,

Our talks so few,

So you cannot further skew,

The truth so bluntly put in front of you
