UNEXPECTED EVENT THAT BROKE US ALL

Guys, Not every incident written here is exactly same as sixteen. I had to make some changes for the sake of the book. Hope you understand. So please bare with me and the story plot ❤️❤️

Chaeyoung's pov

We were here again, the 4th episode of  the SIXTEENTH. We again had to prove our worth, our abilities, uniqueness and the star quality, which I believed I possessed. Well that's what I had to believe to boost up my confidence.

We were waiting behind the set, staffs rushing around, stylists busy trying to make us look pretty, half of the girls rehearsing again and again, while I was just waiting silently with my nervous heartbeat. When I heard a soft voice calling me out
"Chaeyoung-aa"

I knew whom that voice belonged to, and I couldn't be happier to hear her voice. But then I remembered yesterday night's incident. A moment that was unintentional and ofcourse confusing. A unique weird emotion that led that to happen. I felt sudden fire burning in my body due to embarrassment of my past action. Should I avoid her or act like nothing happened? I was all confused with my emotions, but still somehow ended up looking to that direction where that voice came from and there I saw my #pretty-penguin. The girl who brings an automatic smile on my face.

Mina's pov-

After yesterdays incident I really wanted to know what's up with my feelings? What was going on with me? So to clarify my view I  decided to have a talk with Chaeyoung. Seeing her sitting alone, I went towards her,
" Aren't you nervous?"

Chaeyoung- "Oh..unnie! Well.. (smiles gulping down her throat).. kind of."

Chaeyoung seemed really nervous, gulping down as I sat beside her. Trying to comfort her, I lighly patted her back and said,
"It's fine. You are going to be great. Just do whatever you can and think of it as, if not today than never."

Nervously nodding her head, she replied
"Thanks for the encouragement unnie. I wish you the luck too."

And she gave me a sweet smile, showing off her cute deep dimples. Finally seeing her at ease, I decided to bring up last night's topic,
"By the way, Chaeyoung-ah, can I ask you..."

Chaeyoung- "Uh! Ahh! mi-mianhae unnie, I have to go. Sorry. Byee."

Mina- "Ehh!! But??"

Before I could even complete my sentence, Chaeng just went off suddenly, without looking back once. It was really weird and confusing.

Chaeyoung runs away as soon as she feels Mina was about to bring up last night's topic, as she herself couldn't understand what exactly was it and she felt avoiding it was the better choice. Leaving the confused Mina behind, she walks away straight to the other side of the stage.

As the Competition was about to start, the girls walks back to their group partners. Meanwhile, Mina with a confused mind, heads towards her 2yeon Unnies (Nayeon n Jeongyeon).

Finally, as the show starts, the contestants starts performing in groups. Jihyo,Sana and Somi performs first. The trio that were so different from each other. Jihyo's strong vocal, Sana's sexy performance and Somi's powerful confident aura.
After their performance they were followed up by Chaeyoung, Dahyun and Momo.

Mina's pov

I was mesmerized by chaeyoung's rap performance with Momo and Dahyun
The trio was so sexy and powerful, it left me fangirling over them. And especially after looking at Chaeyoung perform, I was turning into a bigger fan of her's. Her small yet sexy body, those powerful aura coming from her, and those hundreds of words coming from her mouth like a bullet, I couldn't praise her more. I was so starstruck by her performance that I even forgot that our performance was next to them.
