Chapter Five: The Outback

When the morning arrives vex open his eyes and see that its 7 AM. as he gets up from the bed he looks around the room and sees nobody.
Vex: "i guess they woke up early." he goes to put on his uniform and walks out to the hallway to the canteen. once he makes it to the canteen he sees tempest and alice together sitting while talking.
Tempest: "morning marcus."
Vex: "morning, where's the others?"
Tempest: "they're at the hanger, and we have our first mission in 2 hours."
Vex: "whats the mission?"
Alice: "we will be debriefing the mission in an hour so get something to eat while we wait."
Vex: "sure."

[2 Hours Later]

The team lead by crow, alice, Vex, tempest,Tank, and stille on a jet going to Australia to meet new members of rainbow and investigate an old building at the outback.
Vex: "hey pops, who are these people joining?"
Crow takes out two files out of his bag and reads them the new operators.
Crow: "this person is gridlock, she's was farmer before joining the SASR she's also a mechanic she can help us with the project."
Crow: "and this is mozzie, a dare devil biker, he actually goes sky diving with a dirt bike, thats a ballzy move but I'll pay to watch him do it."
Vex: "and these two are joining?"
Crow: "yup, once we meet them we will ride to the outback."
Vex: "ok then." vex then goes to sleep knowing it will be a long flight to Australia.

(A Few Hours Later)

After making it to the destination where they will meet they see a woman and a man sitting on beach chairs listening to the radio while looking at the outback until they see the group.
???: "well you look at that."
???: "its the team."
Crow: "you must be mozzie and gridlock?"
Mozzie: "g'day mate." they look at the group behind crow.
Gridlock: "wow told you they will bring more."
Mozzie: "at least we brought two extra dirt bikes." mozzie and gridlock brings the dirt bikes from the Humvee.
Gridlock: "so who going to ride these?"
Vex/Tempest: "dibs!" after they both get on there dirt bikes, mozzie got on his while the rest go inside gridlock's Humvee.
Gridlock: "seatbelts buckled?"
Crow: "really?"
Gridlock: "yes sir." crow looks back and sees they buckle their seatbelts.
Tank: "were ready?"
Crow: "fine..." after he buckles up she looks and nods to mozzie to ride off with before doing a wheelie followed by vex, tempest, and the Humvee.
Mozzie: "WELCOME TO THE OUTBACK RAINBOW- YEEEHAAAAAAW!!!"
Vex: "dads right, he is a daredevil!"
Tempest: "then lets follow him, WOOOOOOO!!!" she does a wheelie then vex followed suit. meanwhile the rest of the group watch as mozzie, vex, and tempest doing stunts.
Crow: "man if i were young again."
Gridlock: "were almost here." mozzie does hand signals to alert the group that on the road ahead another convoy is moving fast going to their destination so mozzie, vex and, tempest split up from the rest of the group.
Gridlock: "alright, were going to take a short cut so hang on to your seats." then she drives off road and later stop near a cliff to see the dirt bikes are there and the three laying prone near the cliff overlooking the building and the convoy that was ahead of them.
Mozzie: "its them alright."
Tempest: "what do they have?" they see the cartels moving containers to another group of men wearing masks as they help move them inside the building.
Vex: "it has to be weapons, or something."
Mozzie: "we will find our when we will go in." crow then joins them as the look at their objective.
Crow: "whats the situation?"
Mozzie: "they're moving crates inside the building, when will we go in?"
Crow: "when alice is in position." then they see light flashing from the other side.
Crow: "lets go."  they then move away from the cliff and enter their vehicles before gridlock covers the road with spikes.
Gridlock: "just incase they tried to run away."
Crow: "smart." she enters and drives the Humvee with vex and mozzie going ahead and fire there weapons at the guards alerting the cartel and the masked group.
Cartel: "shit, get ready to defend!" they entered the front of the building as mozzie drives his dirt bike inside the building before jumping off and letting the bike hit a cartel knocking him out.
Mozzie: "should have not be there!"
then crow and the others move inside and fight room to room then after the building is clear they see the containers they have transported and delivered.
Crow: "open it all." they found some crowbars and open the tightly sealed crates to see weapons, drugs of  cocaine, and money of US dollars.
Mozzie: "jackpot..."
Vex: "what are we going to do with these?"
Mozzie: "maybe i can... take some..." mozzie was about to grab some bit crow slaps his hand.
Crow: "its fake." crow takes out a 100 dollar bill and his lighter then lits the bill as it burns light pink.
Mozzie: "oh it is fake..."
Vex: "how did you know?"
Crow: "these are cartel, some maybe real, then they mix them together." then alice and tank radio's in the group.
Alice: "there's reinforcements coming in, they have masks."
Tank: "there vehicles are coming in, some are rekt, gridlock's traps are doing there job."
Gridlock: "your welcome mate."
Crow: "alright, set up positions, mozzie call for back up and a clean up crew."
Mozzie: "on it!"
Crow: "alice come here if you can, the drone will be outside for over watch."
Tempest: "mines out." she sets grozmot mine near the entrances while crow set his shock charges.
Alice: "im on the roof right now."
Mozzie: "we have 30 minutes to defend before back up arrives."
Crow: "you heard the man, hold position, show em what rainbow is made of!"
Team: "rog!" they see masked men approaching from the road.
Crow: "come on..."

(30 Minutes Later)

After the counterattack they found a wounded masked man that his stomach was shot.
???: "go to hell- *cough x2."
Tank: "we got a live one!" crow goes to him and takes off the mask he has on showing his face and seeing he's bleeding from the mouth.
Crow: "it looks like your going to die, even when we take to the emergency room... who are you people?"
???: "we... are the... red... hand..." then he dies on the spot, saying what he is apart off, made crow have a flash back when the terrorist commits suicide after he said he's part of the red hand. before he can think more, tempest radios in.
Tempest: "the clean up crew is here."
Crow: "alright... lets go home." before he goes he takes a look at the mask, it has some red on it but the mask was similar to the white mask organization's mask then he takes it with him.
Crow: (i have a bad feeling about this...)

(hey sorry for the long wait again, i was busy on playin d2 because of jokers wild. I've been waiting on playing the new operators for Burnt Horizon, my favorite op right now would be mozzie so... yah.)
