Not half-baked. Not a little. All of my attention is focused on Luke when I saw him step inside this pop up restaurant. What is it called again?

I think it's Friz and Bits.

A wide smile crept on my lips. Kahit wala sa akin ang atensyon niya, my heart is gleaming. But my smile turned temporary when I saw a lady come out from his back. And it didn't end there. Replacing my smile was pure shock the moment I saw their hands tangled together.

Wala sa segundong napatayo ako. Isang singhap ang kumawala sa labi ko. "What is going on?" Tarantang tanong ko habang hindi inaalis ang tingin sa kamay nila.

I was buffering. Namamalik-mata ba ako?

Though I couldn't see my friends' reaction, theirs must be the same like mine.

I have never seen him hold a lady's hand in my entire life! But right now, it looks like he's the one who held her hand. It looks like the lady is even trying to let go but he wouldn't budge. And that... pisses me off!

Looking at the lady again, I found her eyes landing on me. Of course, because of my annoyance, I glared at her!

Masama ang tingin ko sa kanya kasi kasama niya si Luke. Everyday, I dream that he would notice me. That he would talk to me when I initiate a conversation. But it never happened. Tapos ngayon makikita ko siyang kasama ang isang babae na hindi ko masyadong nakikita dito sa campus?!

Having full recognition, she's one of the newbies who transferred here in Weston University. And how come she knows him? How does he know her? Wala akong kaide-ideya!

I watched. In silence, I watched the way he pulled her a chair like a gentleman he wasn't before.

Tinitigan ko sila.

"Natalie" Tawag sa akin ng isa kong kaibigan. Maaring nagtatanong kung bakit ano ang nangyayari.

I ignored her.

My eyes never leaving the two characters. Inis kong dinampot ang frappe na iniinom ko at sumimsim sa straw nito nang makitang nag-uusap sila. Luke is actually talking to her. Maliban sa Vikings at sa mga professors dito sa Weston University, wala na siyang ibang kinakausap. Bihira lang namin siyang makitang kausap ang ibang estudyante.

"This is not happening..." bulong ko sa kawalan at mabilis napalunok nang makitang ngumiti siya sa kanya. Kitang-kita ko iyon! Kahit saglit lang. I've already recorded it in my head.

He smiled at her but never to us! He didn't even smile at any of his fans! At kahit ilang taon na niya akong nakikita sa campus, sa mga laro nila, kahit pa todo suporta ako sa kanya, ni isang beses hindi niya ako pinagtuunan ng pansin.

And that sucks!

"Who is she?"

"Why is he with her?"

"Natalie. Kilala mo ba siya?"

"Bakit siya kausap ni Luke?"

I glared at all my nosy friends. "Huwag niyo akong tanungin kasi hindi ko din alam! All know is that she is a new student" Irap ko sa kanila at muling ibinalik ang tingin sa gawi ni Luke.
