Nag-iwas ako ng tingin habang nakatingin kay Luke. They don't have a practice today which explains why he's leaning against the wall, waiting for her.

Palagi niya itong ginagawa. Na kapag wala silang praktis matapos ang dismissal, siya mismo ang susundo kay Zarena. He does this everytime. And everytime, I always get jealous. I envy Zarena. Kay bago-bago niya dito sa Campus, nahuli agad niya ang atensyon ng lalakeng pinapangarap ng halos lahat ng kababaihan dito sa Weston University.

Kaya maraming naiinggit kay Zarena. Hawak niya sa daliri si Luke. And I don't doubt why many of us are jealous of her. Maganda siya. Sobrang ganda. She is sexy too. Though she wears loose shirts all the time, I know she is curvy. She definitely has the curves at the right places. She looks like a princess. Mabait rin siya sa katunayan at maalaga. That's what I hate the most kasi kahit may maling nagawa ang isang tao sa kanya, she tries to understand the situation. Not just the situation but the person as well.

I tilted my head and watched Luke who is patiently waiting for Zarena to come out of her class.

I had been his admirer since high school and never did he divert his attention to me. Never did he say a word to me. Never did he smile at me. He was always cold towards anyone aside from his parents and friends. Until Zarena came and everything changed.

Kakatapos lang ng klase ko. Pagkalabas ko ng pintuan, si Luke ang tumambad sa paningin ko.

I stared at him longer. His dark features. His broad shoulders. His cold eyes that only lights up when he sees the woman he loves. His sexy lips. His masculine features that all the ladies love.

Almost all the students here, mga babae o lalake ay alam ang panliligaw ng Captain ng Vikings kay Zarena. Often times I hear men talking about Zarena, even Patricia and Catalya. Pinag-uusapan ng mga ito kung gaano sila kaganda.

Most of the times, I catch guys giving their opinions on how they would love to court Zarena. Baka daw may pag-asa pa sila. But I know so well kung bakit walang nagtatangkang manligaw kay Zarena. Bantay sarado si Luke sa kanya. Kung may magtatangka, babantaan agad ni Luke. Kung may gutso sila kay Za, he lets them. But if he hears something about Zarena that is not right listening to, kahit magsinungaling ako, hindi maikakailang nakakatakot siya kapag masama ang pinag-uusapan nila tungkol kay Zarena.

Kaya ni isang lalaki dito sa campus, kahit maraming may gusto kay Zarena, walang nagtatangkang kausapin siya... dala siguro sa takot nila kay Luke. He is very possessive of her.

Huminga ako ng malalim at tinitigang maigi si Luke. I gripped my books on my hand.

"I can do this" bulong ko sa sarili ko bago tinungo ang direksyon niya.

When I'm only a few feet away from him, I continued walking and stopped right in front of him. I prepared my sweet smile and waited.

Hindi pa siya nag-aangat ng tingin hanggang sa tumikhim lang ako. Ang when his eyes met mine, I gave him a sweet smile. "Hi Luke" Bati ko.

But instead of retorting back or at least giving me a nod, he ignored me and looked at the class where Zarena is in.

Pain crossed my eyes but I just shrugged it off. Dapat sanay na ako. He does this to me everytime. But I can't help to feel hurt when he shrugs me off like my presence doesn't exist at all.
