Chapter Sixteen- I Love You Too

CLAIRE'S P.O.V.

My body was hurting, I was feeling a lot of pain.
"Oliver" I called out again for the umpteenth time hoping he would come.

I had requested to see oliver,I really needed him now,why wasn't he here yet?

No doctor had given any report on me yet and I was dying to get out of here,it was so uncomfortable.

The sound of those beeping machines increased the terrible headache I was feeling.

Tears formed in my eyes,the pain was just too much,and i allowed my tears to fall.

But just before they could fall,someone wiped them off gently, before giving me a soft peck.

I opened my eyes and I saw oliver. When did he get here?

"Oliver" I said weakly but happily.

"Yes love" he replied in his majestic baritone voice,which sent shivers down my spine.

"I requested for you a long time ago,why didn't you come".
" I had to do something but that's settled now,my love".

Hold up!!!!!
Did I just hear,my love???

Oh no, this doctors have injected
me with something.

"Your love?"
Claire don't get your hopes up- I heard something say at the back of my mind.

"Yes,you are my love" he said again as I saw tears well up in his eyes.

"Claire" he said as he sat on my bed and cuddled me. I felt alive once more,all my pain melted instantly.
"Yes?"
"I know you may not believe me,but I need to let this out"

He didn't look amiss of words,like he knew exactly what to say and I was so.....

"I LOVE YOU,CLAIRE".

I blinked and blinked and felt myself in a dream. Those three words imprinted on my heart,my body,my soul,my everything. I only looked up at him.

I drew him closer and I whispered in his ear.

"What did you say,can you repeat it?" I asked with tears in my eyes. It was almost whisper.
I just couldn't believe it,after how many months.

"I love you so much Claire,you are the one I will give all my love to" he said once again.

"I love you too" I said as soon as I found my voice.

"Are you really sure you love me the way I love you" I was surprised.
Feelings don't grow in a day,so if oliver is confessing that he loves me now,that could only mean that he had fought and also harboured this feelings for sometime now.

I was so happy,I felt on top of the world,even though I was in the hospital.

"I love everything about you Claire,your hair,your beautiful brown eyes,your whole body,everything. I care about you,your good soul,you even let me in as your first man,damn it,you don't know his proud I was" I chuckled and blushed instantly.

"And today you've made me the happiest man on earth" he said as he placed his hand on my stomach.

I was surprised, until the doctor emerged into our room.

"Mrs Claire king,I hope your husband has given you the news" she said with a smile.

I looked at oliver,silently asking questions with my eyes but he only smiled showing off his lovely set of white teeth.

"Well ma'am,you are 4 weeks pregnant"

"What?" I asked in shock.
I looked over at oliver and I saw that he didn't look surprised,like the doctor said,he knew about it.

"You are going to be a mother" she said again.

I couldn't move. Tears welled up in my eyes again.
"I will take my leave now,and ma'am get some rest. With that the doctor took her leave,leaving me in my own world.

OLIVER'S P.O.V.

I knew Claire was shocked. But cut the crap,we were gonna become parents.

"Darling,I'm gonna be a mother"
She said astonished.

"Yes you are and why not, we've been hitting it a lot lately" I said playfully earning a sweet chuckle from her.

"Baby,we are gonna be parents" she screamed once again.

"Sure,we are"
"I am so happy"
"Yes my love,I already love the baby and I love you my beauty.

"I love you too"
And with that I brought my lips down to hers and we gave each other our hearts in one kiss. I deepened the kiss pushing her more to me when she moaned forcing me to stop.

"Oliver,I'm hurt and sick,but I will always want you,so please don't stop"

"I'm gonna stop so you can have some rest,I have to get you some things and I will tell my nurses to...
"Your nurses?" She looked surprised,I knew she was gonna ask one thing.

"Is this your hospital?"
I had no choice,but to let it out.

"Only a few people know and i wish to keep it that way"
"But I know now" I had expected her to be angry but was the other way round.

"Claire dear,how are you doing"
"Esperanza" she exclaimed.
"She's fine,esperanza" I said.

"Oh,when I saw you in the tub,I thought you were dead,but thank God you are here".

" Thank you Esperanza"
"And Esperanza, we have something to tell you."

"I'm all ears,darling"
"I'm pregnant,oliver and I are gonna become parents,and you are going to be like a mother to him or her".

Tears welled up in Esperanza's eyes I could see through her that she was happy .

She walked up to Claire and gave her a sweet hug,and I couldn't help but wonder,how did they get so close?.

They both shed tears of joy as I heard esperanza whisper in her ears.

"I knew about everything before now" they both let out smiles.

I hugged them both, and I felt complete,it was a wonder,how Claire had filled everyone's life with happiness, I felt whole with her,than I ever did,even with my parents.

I was also moved to tears as I watched them both. But I knew that this was a new beginning for all of us.
