Sasuke was aware if the glances he was given by the hyuga leader. He was aware of the watching eyes of every hyuga members. But he didn't care, he sat far from everyone, he preferred his spot here watching the people in front of him, there were people from other villages he recognized some of them ,the kazakage who came to greet him first, some of the clans from his village, and some from the other villages he could identify where they are from by their outfits. Sasuke ignored everyone who approach him he made it clear that he didn't want anyone Around him, and even if sasuke did that ,the nara didn't have any trouble sitting beside him. He sat after offering a sake for sasuke and which he accepted it. "When hokage-sama speak he wanted us all to gather there" then he pointed at the place where people were sitting. Sasuke almost laughed when he heard kakashi's new nickname. He knew what was kakashi's reason he wanted him to get along with the people, he knew his sensei hated seeing him alone far from them but that what he preferred. He heard a group of females whispering loudly to each other, they were talking about him and how good he looked. He felt proud of that because after all hyuga hinata was the one who made him looking like that. Sasuke now knew that hinata only picked his yukata and only his. She didn't picked Naruto's or anyone else. He saw Shikamaru stood from his seat before looking back at him "it's about time now" sasuke followed him until the sat beside each other. Naruto was busy with the kazakage chatting about old memories. Kakashi stood in front of them all clearing his throat to gain all of their attention. While sasuke drifted his brain to his own world.

Hanabi was waiting for her sister she took so long to come. Or maybe because she felt lonely she thought that, she had been feeling down and lonely. The younger hyuga has changed since the war ended, since they came back all of them... without her cousin (Neji) she sighed letting out all the desire for crying with it. She was old now and she was going to be the leader for her clan. Hanabi's smile had faded ,she wore her blank expression all the time which made the hyuga's elders proud because that what strength meant to them, but they were wrong she was losing her feelings one by one. And hinata moving out wasn't helping at all. This compound felt big, so big that she felt it had no end for it. That taking few steps made her tired. Especially when she had to go to the table for a meal ,the way to that room seemed long now. She remembered when she was flying through the hallways like it was few steps far from her room. She ate her meal with her father quietly on the huge table each of them sitting on both ends of the table. It was stressful. The only time she felt happy was when hinata would come and so she waited for her lovely elder sister to come. Hanabi hoped that this feeling wouldn't die with the others.

It's been a while since she came here she missed this place. Hinata greeted the guard along with her friends she brought them with her. Ino again stick her head on the bag hinata was holding "god hinata I can't wait to eat it all" sakura rolled her bright green eyes to her blonde friend "ugh ino-pig stop acting like a kid wait until we get there" ino glared at her "shut up forehead!!" Then she crossed her arms looking smugly at Sakura "is it because you're jealous because YOU SUCK AT COOKING" that made the medic glare back both of them ready to fight. Thankfully tenten stopped both of them since all hinata could do is smiling. "Come on girls we didn't come here to fight let's have fun only that" she held both of their shoulders to guide them. Hinata was walking ahead. She looked around her the flowers she grew by herself were still there they had been taking care of them she was glad. She narrowed her eyes when she spotted her young sister standing at the entrance of their compound. The older hyuga felt a tug at her heart when she noticed how her young sister looked. Hanabi had lost weight ,a lot..those chubby cheeks were gone, her cheeks bones appeared so clear on both sides of her face. She was aware of what her little sister was going through, she knew she hadn't moved on, how stressed she felt in young age, she was a teenager who was supposed to be enjoying her life the most. The hyuga's leadership and the elders expectations had refined her. That the cheerful young hyuga who was running every time she meet her sister holding her tight had faded and was replaced by this quiet one. Everyone noticed the changed when she bowed slightly to Welcome them. Tenten's eyebrows were up to her forehead she was used to hanabi always teasing her and arguing about so many things. But this time the hyuga heiress turned followed by the servant. She opened so many doors until they made it to the dining room. "Wow this is huge" sakura nodded agreeing with ino. Tenten wasn't surprised this wasn't her first time here. Her attention were on hinata who was beside her. She watched her, hinata suddenly saddened which made tenten wondered was it because she missed this place or because her sister. She gussied it was the second one since hinata was watching her sister. When they all sat together ino took out a wine from her bag. "Look what i haaave" she sang happily holding it up and that made sakura cheered loudly. "Wait are u nut? Hanabi-chan can't drink" hanabi didn't even raised her eyes from her plate "it's ok please enjoy your meal as you want" both ino and sakura cheered preparing their cups "anyone?" Ino raised one of her eyebrows, holding the bottle closer to both hinata and tenten. They both sighed before giving up to the smell of it. "You picked a good one ino, where did you get from?" Ino shrugged before she held her cup close to her lips " I don't know sai brought it" she wasn't embarrassed by her relationship with sai, she knew that her genius teammate had a thing for the sand kunoichi but both of them were keeping it a secret. One of the ladies who work at the house knocked the door and whispered something for the younger hyuga. Hanabi then wiped her mouth gently before she excused herself. They continued their meal the only one who was looking at the door was hinata she kept herself from running after her sister. But that would make her feel worse so she stayed. "BTW sakura did you pick sasuke's yukata?" Well that returned the hyuga's attention back to them by mentioning only one name. She watched ino poking sakura's side teasing the medic "did you went to his plaaace" then she began laughing hinata drifted her eyes to sakura who nodded her head after a minute and that made hinata confused. "Oooooh did he wore it?" Sakura again nodded this time without hesitation, hinata didn't know where did this bad feelings came from but she swallowed them by gulping all of her wine and asking for more. Tenten looked at hinata "what about you?" Hinata smiled hiding her embarrassment "no Naruto-kun was busy and me too so I couldn't" sakura cracked her fingers "that idiot he didn't come home did he?" She shook her head before she gulped another one again

Kakashi was ending his speech which sasuke didn't pay any attention to because he was busy driving all the sake in this huge gathering . The hokage began thanking the future hokage and the advisor he saw the admiration on their features before he said his name "and sasuke uchiha" their features turned to angry, disappointment and hate they didn't even try to hide their words about him. They were talking on his face about his past and how Konoha shouldn't accepted him. The last uchiha only focused on the sake before he swallowed it down , he heard so many lies about him some had said that he killed a whole town and the other said he was the one who killed his own clan he heard them whispering loudly "how could he kill his own family, oh my gosh did he kill his mother too?" And the other responded with a node. Sasuke was taking another cup filled with sake after the other without looking at anyone. "Did you know he joined the Akatsuki?" "Oh lord so he intended to kill his own village too?" "I wish he was killed with his clan too" "how could Konoha accepted him?" They were trying to voice it out to him. They intended to let him hear every word they said. Sasuke swallowed the last cup before getting up to leave he started to feel dizzy and tired he didn't turned back even when he heard his name by a deep, old man's voice, he left.

Shikamaru didn't like sasuke at all, but either he liked it or not he was one who belonged to the same village as him. And he deserved to be mentioned in the hokage's speech, That's a fact. So when he heard all of these people whispering their faked stories about the last uchiha in front of his face without trying to hide their voices, rage filled him ,he felt angry, no one have the right to speak about anyone from his village especially an outsiders. Shikamaru drifted his eyes to sasuke who was drinking quietly. Shikamaru moved from beside him to look for the kazakage's sister. Shikamaru stared at the uchiha ,If someone looked at him they would say he doesn't care, but Shikamaru knew that inside him he was effected by their words especially when they accused him of the uchiha's massacre. It was very clear for the hokage's advisor the state the uchiha was in. He watched as he did his hardest to walk straight to leave. He could see how mad Naruto was he was clenching the table ready to jump on anyone who said something but he was held back by gaara ,Shikamaru stepped a few steps to follow him but the deep voice of the hyuga clan's leader Hiashi Hyūga stopped him when he spoke "uchiha sasuke" his voice was loud and clear for everyone. They all gave him their attention "had fought well along side with Naruto uzumaki and The hokage defending his own village" they all went quite as he spoke. "So as a member of the hidden leaf village and the leader of the hyuga clan I thank him for his efforts" and by that he ended all the gossips. Shikamaru admired how he dealt with them without ruining the night. And so Shikamaru went on his way after sasuke.
