Chapter 22: Reunited

So I just wanted to say that I made a little mistake HA! My fucking brain is messed up right now but anyways, I had Christina and Jake tell each other their names already and so ignore the mistakes that came from the ball chapters. Just ignore them until I can fix them or rewrite everything which I will possibly do once I am done with this entire book! So thats about it, so see ya later!

Jake's Point of View

 I was currently pacing as I waited for Christina to wake up, but of course she wasn't going to wake up for a while. Five hours has passed and here she was. Laying in bed, her chest moving up and down slowly as she inhaled air. 

I stopped pacing for a bit and walked over to her. Walking over to the side of her bed, I gently raised my hands and was a bit hesitant as to if I should touch her, but decided to do it anyway. As I did that, I couldn't help but allow the tears to fall as I stared at her peaceful face. 

I knew that it was a very bad idea to confess to her what I was! I should've noticed and figured outt hat she would pass out! I was a fucking idiot for telling her when she was ill, and now? I don't even know if that has taken a toll on her health and I am scared that I might lose my happily ever after once again. 

But the one thing that I was wondering about, is the moment before she had fainted, I felt a painful snap inside of me. I knew that it didn't come from me, but from Christina as the mate bond between us. It really made me wonder. Was this pain the one to make her faint? Or was it because of my confession? 

 All of these questions really made me wonder which one was the one. But all I could do right now is wait until she wakes up for me to get the answers that I really need. And hopefully she won't give me a black eye, not that she can anyway.

Unknown's Point of View

It fucking happened! All because of this dumbass Alpha! Now my people and I have to move on the plan  really early. There will be a huge commotion as to why this is happening, but its all for the good of the people. 

"What are we going to fucking do now?!?" Demanded my righ hand man. I stared at him as I tried to calm my nerves as well as his. 

"Yes, what are we going to do? If we move on to early, that Alpha will know!" demanded multiple voices that was around me. 

I sighed and rubbed my face before I spoke up. "We just have to see okay? And yes, if we move to fast they will figure out and we cannot let that happen. We made a promise to her that we would not let them know and we will protect that alright?" 

Everyone nodded their heads as they agreed to what I was saying. This is going to be a huge mess if they figure out what is about to happen.

Jake's Point of View

I never left her side. I stuck by her until I could se her eyes open up for the very first time. I knew that it had to be me who will be the first one to greet her when she wakes up, but so far there was no sign that she will be waking up, even though she would murmur some incoherent stuff that no one can pick out. 

I sighed and dropped my head on the edge of her bed as I grasped onto her hand while gently moving my fingers across her skin. I knew that it could soothe her and hopefully awaken her because of the many sparks and fireworks that was lingering. 

Closing my eyes, I couldn't help but drift off into a deepless sleep seeing as I never got to sleep ever since she had fainted. But as I drifted off, I didn't think that I would end up seeing someone. A special someone in my dreams instead of greeting the darkness like I usually would.
