Minah's P.O.V.

It was now a few days later, as I nervously walked down the hallways of the building. Taking turns here and there, and I gulp, reciting the words I was going to say in my head.

The day before, I was working on some blueprints, until Jisung and I's conversation from that night came spiralling to my thoughts.

'It wouldn't hurt to try asking, would it?'

The words remain an echo in my head, as I'm unable to shake the idea away.

So setting my fears aside, I made up my mind to tell Chan about it.

Which, I might add, was way easier planned than done.

Stopping in front of my designated destination, I stand outside the seniors office, trying my best to compose myself as I take in deep breaths. No matter how worried I felt about this on the inside, I wouldn't let it affect what I was going to ask. Right?

Come on Minah, you can do this.

You can totally do this.

Walking up to the door, I gently knock on it. I waited for one, two, three seconds, before getting hit with a wave of instant regret.

Okay, maybe I can't do this.

But it was too late, as before I knew it, I heard Chan's voice signalling the okay.

"Come in."

I do as he says, twisting the handle cautiously before going inside and sitting down. My heart rate feeling like it was going at a million miles an hour. "Hello, ah, Chan? I uhhhh... have a question- Ahhh, about Lee know."

"Hmmm?" Chan tilts his head, preparing to continue. "What about him? How has he been so far?"

I take a deep breath in, my voice shaky. "He's actually been doing really well. And, well, I wanted to, maybe, take him... outside?" I feel the weight that was there lift off my shoulders, only to be replaced with the weight of waiting for an answer.

Chan furrows his eyebrows, the look on his face clearly stating confusion. "Why so?"

"I just thought that he had been doing really well," I begin explaining, trying not to fumble over my own words. "But, he can't really be of use if he spends all day doing nothing but the same thing everyday, right? Taking him outside would get him used to not being in the office all day."

"Hwamin." Chan's states, his tone of voice going serious. "He's an Android. Adaptation for the environment isn't needed. You main task is to find out where he came from, and the information of his terrorist group."

My eyebrows furrow. A lump formed in my throat, of one which I tried to swallow back down. "But, we can't just lock him up in an office all day!" I say feeling the level of my voice rising. "You- you can't do that to him!"

He pauses, eyes not meeting mine the entire time he thinks. "What do you really think this will achieve, Hwamin? I would be willing to agree if you can convince me."

"I-" I pause.

What do I want to achieve?
