A red scarf fluttered in the breeze as Stain cocked his head at Todoroki and I. He was armed to the teeth in knives and his look was one of disgust, especially at Iida. This was the man who killed 17 heroes and has injured even more. He was a villain in a whole other league and we were about to face him. I wasn't sure if we were stupid or brave or somewhere in between.

"Shichi, get him away from them!" Todoroki called as he sent a wave of ice to protect Native and Iida.

"Right!" I nodded and swiped my arm sending a gust of wind making Stain jump back.

"Next time send more details, Midoriya," Todoroki said sending a burst of fire at Stain. "It took us a minute to figure out you needed help."

"The pros will be here soon!" I called out. Stain jumped over the fire and as he was falling I sent another burst of air, trying to slow him down.

"Todoroki, Shichi don't let him cut you!" Midoriya warned. "If he licks your blood you won't be able to move!"

"You have some good friends, Ingenium," Stain glanced at Iida as he sliced at Todoroki's cheek. As he tried to lick the blood Todoroki released more fire making him recoil. Stain came charging right towards me blade in hand. I brought my forearm up and metal hit metal.

"Stop you two!" Iida said as I kicked Stain. "I inherited my brother's name, I have to be the one to defeat him!"

Todoroki made a wall of ice between Stain and I. "Really? The Ingenium I know never made faces like that!"

"Not smart blocking your view!" Stain sliced through the ice wall, going for Todoroki. Instead he met me, a knife went through my shoulder, just below my shoulder pads. I hit the ground with him above me. The sword in his hand angled down trying to pierce me. As he brought it down I moved my head nearly grazing my cheek. I kicked up with fire making Stain jump back. He threw two knives that went into Todoroki's forearm.

As Stain came down to attack Todoroki Midoriya was up and attacked faster that I could see. He punched Stain and landed in front of me. "Are you okay?" Midoriya asked.

"Fine," I said, pulling the knife out of my shoulder. It wasn't too serious and I could still move my arm. He wasn't trying to kill me with that blow. I used my water to wipe away the blood from the blade.

"How are you moving?" Todoroki asked Midoriya.

"I have three guesses," Midoriya said bringing his hands up. "1. The effect is weaker the more people he uses it on. 2. It depends on how much blood he ingests. 3. It depends on blood type."

"I'm type B," Native groaned.

"Type A," Iida said.

"Good guess kid," Stain grinned. "You're right about blood type, but it's not going to help you."

"I don't think we can escape," Todoroki said looking around. "Our best bet is to avoid him until the pros arrive."

"Agreed, he's trying to kill Iida and Native," Midoriya said. "I will draw his attention while Todoroki defends from the rear. Shichi, you stay in the middle and run support."

"Right!" Todoroki and I nodded agreeing with our roles.

"The three of us will protect them!" Midoriya said determined.

"Three against one?" Stain said drawing a new blade. "At least you're not naive."

Green lightning surround Midoriya as he rushed in to attack. He somehow managed to control his quirk. Todoroki would send bursts of ice and fire when Midoriya jumped away, directing Stain to my path. I reached my hand into my sand bag and pulled out a handful. With my earth quirk I tossed it into his face trying to blind him. He saw through my move and dodged, sending the sand skittering into the ground.
