Red Claw looked around. Black Heart's body was lying on the ground, bloody. "What happened?" Gasped Red Claw. Violet Talon looked horrified. "He was attacked by a red striped lizard." Explained Yellow Stripe. "My herbs were so low I couldn't even treat him!" Pink Shade and Violet Talon's mother Magenta Leaf hurried beside her son's body. "Red striped lizards are deadly poisonous." She murmured. "He shouldn't have gone looking for them." They stood in silence as Pink Shade, Violet Talon and Magenta Leaf grieved. "Someone must have done this!" Wailed Magenta Leaf. Yellow Stripe looked thoughtful. "Some cat could have commanded them." Violet Talon shrugged. Pink Shade looked up from her brother's body. " Both a lizard or a cat could not do this." She mewed. "How?" Sobbed Blue Talon. Red Claw understood, but Purple Tail spoke up. "It wasn't them, but maybe a wolf-eagle." All the cats looked horrified. "How can we fight a wolf-eagle if we can't see it, smell it or feel it?" Asked Silver Feather. "We can hear it." Mewed Golden Wing. "We have to tell the Clans before they wipe all the cats!" Bronze Flame gasped. "How will we get there without being spotted by the wolf-eagle?" Asked Gray Storm. "We'll be careful." Responded Red Claw. Orange Lily looked nervous. "Everyone?" She whispered. "We'll make this journey, for us, the Clans, StarClan and Black Heart." Hissed White Splash. "We owe it to them!"
