It isn't long before Kane and the others come into sight. I alert the army, the horn immediately sounded right after. The Skaikru look around them, looking for any grounder in sight.

Bellamy shouts words for Octavia to translate to the army, knowing they are listening. As soon as they do so, I release my arrow. It soars through the sky and imbedded itself within the throat of one of the many guards.

Grounders come out from their hiding places, ready to attack. I walk out as well, aiming my bow towards Pike. I was told by Kane to not kill him, so I wouldn't. I'd just wound him well. I release the arrow and watch it hit Pike in his shoulder, before he can attack Bellamy.

The said boy looks over to me, when he sees the arrow lodge into Pike. He nods in thanks, while I approach with the grounders. "𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘶𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴 𝘸𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘵! 𝘏𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘱𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘣𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴!" I shout to my people, who cheer. A buff grounder walks up to Pike and knocks him out cold, before he starts to drag the man away.

Kane stops the warrior, asking where they will be taking Pike to. "To the new commander." The grounder answers.

"May I join you?" Kane asks, as I stand beside Octavia. The man shows the warrior the symbol on his arm. "We're the 13th clan."

"Don't slow us down." He says, before proceeding to walk away with the rest of the army.

Movement from the corner of my eye catches both Octavia and I's attention. Without a second thought, she lunges onto the man, stabbing him in his chest. Octavia looks over to her brother, with a murderous glint in her eyes like I had. "𝘉𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘥."

I remain where I was before, leaning against the cave wall. As I am sharpening my blade, Octavia moves away from her seat at the fire. She packs her stuff quickly, as if about to leave. So, I do the same. I would not stay here any longer with Bellamy, if she wouldn't be here.

"O, wait. You can't just leave." Bellamy speaks to his sister, once he sees her packing her things into a bag.

"Watch me."

Bellamy stands to the side of Octavia, with his back to me. "You heard what Jasper said on the radio. Arkadia is not safe." He says, in hopes to make his sister stay.

"What jasper said sounds insane. Pike's gone. E, you packed?" She asks me, pulling the bag over her shoulder.

I finish packing my things, looking over towards her. "Yeah."

"Grounders burn their dead." Octavia says to Bellamy. "E, needs this."

"I know that. And then what? Where are you gonna go?" Bellamy asks her, only making Octavia more mad.

"You don't get to ask me that."

Bellamy seems close to giving up. "What more do I have to do to prove that I am on your side?"

"Bring Lincoln back." She responds, before walking away from him. Octavia stops half way to the entrance and turns back to say one last thing to her brother. "Turning Pike in does not make you one of the good guys, Bellamy. You did that to save me. Not because what you thought Pike was doing to the Grounders was wrong."

Bellamy faces his sister again, brows furrowed. "The Grounders were starving us out." He says to defend his actions. I go to stand at the cave entrance, knowing I shouldn't be involved.
