Zoe's P.O.V.

I've always hated waiting rooms, I think everybody does. But when the room is full of women with their husbands waiting to get an ultrasound done, it's even worse. I'm a teenager here with my mum.

"Zoe, calm down." Mum whispers.

"I don't know why I get so nervous for these." I quietly say.

"Hey, it's okay." She whispers.

"Zoe Hood?"

Mum and I both get up, following the lady to the room.

I go through all the steps, laying down, exposing my stomach, flinching when the gel hits my skin.

"Is the baby doing okay?" Mum asks.

She smiles, "The baby is perfectly fine."

"Since she's twenty weeks, we'll be able to know if it's a boy or a girl right?"

The lady nods, still looking at the screen in from of her.

"So, is it a boy or a girl?"

-

"Ella, come on!" I chuckle as she runs around upstairs.

"El, let's go!" Michael yells. "Zoe's waiting!"

"I'm comin' right now!" Ella exclaims.

"Okay, let's go sweetheart." I smile, taking my hand in hers.

"Bye daddy!" Ella calls.

I help get her into the car, she giggles the whole time.

"Zoe, when does your baby come?" El asks.

"Uh... In about four months." I smile before getting into the car, and driving off.

"You gonna be a good mummy. You fun. I like fun." Ella tells me.

"Thanks El, that actually means a lot to me." I chuckle.

"Is baby boy or girl?" Ella asks.

I smile, "Girl."

"Girl!" She squeals.

Really, I can't stop smiling. I'm going to have a daughter. A beautiful little girl all to myself.

"She gonna be so pretty like you." Ella says.

"Nobody is prettier than you Ella." I tell her.

She just giggles and again, I just smile.

I'm gonna have my own little girl, like Ella. She'll be cute and giggly and we'll have an amazing time together.

Honestly, I can't wait for this baby.

I think mum was right, this baby will make me happy.

"Now, are you ready to buy toys for the baby?" I question, pulling up to the store.

"Yea!" Ella yells.

Ella manages to get out of the car herself and runs over to me, grabbing my hand.
