The light was hitting Billie just right. She looked over to me after feeling my gaze on her and she laughed.

Billie:What happened?

She turned back to her ice cream,began eating and then looked back at me.

Jennifer:Sometimes im just surprised by how beautiful you are.

Billie:Stoppp

I laughed.

Billie:You know i hate soft compliments.

Jennifer:You look beautiful, best believe imma tell you.

She laughed and pulled me closer. I gasped when i realized something.

Jennifer:Can you sing listen before i go for me?

Billie chuckled.

She took a deep breath and began singing.

She stopped singing and looked at me.

When she was done she looked over at me and gave me the most broken smile i have ever seen. It made me worry. I got closer to her and hugged her.

Jennifer:Whats wrong baby?

Billie:Nothing...thats the thing. Sometimes I remember how sad and stressed i was before i met you and i look at how happy i am now and i just....im grateful for you.

I hugged her even tighter.

Jennifer:Ugh...what would i do without you? You literally make me a better,more zero fucks given person.

She laughed.

Billie:Ok lets stop with all this corny shit and just eat our fucking ice cream.

I laughed loudly.

Jennifer:Deal.

The rest of the night was spent eating ice cream and cuddling. We walked down the stairs of the building holding hands. When we made it to the car i was really tired so i fell asleep in the car.

I felt myself being lifted up and i could tell that Billie was carrying me. She walked with me being carried bride style into the house and then accidentally hit my foot on a wall.

I groaned and opened my eyes.

Jennifer:Be more careful that shit hurted!!

Billie:What the hell? You've been awake this whole fucking time?

I looked around and gave her puppy eyes.

Jennifer:No... i just woke up right now..

Billie hummed and rolled her eyes.
