🌱 1 YEAR WITH NCT 🌱

On this very day, 18th August, is the date where I started to stan NCT as a whole group and I can't believe it's been a year since I've became an NCTzen. I still remembered how I started to like them ; Lucas in Knowing Bros 😂 he just so dorky in it that I started to have crush on him and he became my first ever official bias in NCT. I started to acknowledge the 18 member group since early year of 2018 but I didn't try to get to know them or even listen to their song until my other friend who stan NCT, told me about their song called <Boss> and <Go>.

I was shocked to heard that NCT U finally having their comeback since their last song was in 2016 and I jammed to Boss the whole week. For Go, if you're a basic kpop fan, you would know how NCT Dream's usual concept is right? Cute concept but when I heard Go, my vision towards them changed. I literally keep telling myself that isn't NCT Dream since it's not their usual concept that day but I just went with it and jammed the song too. It was catchy too, both of the song.

After the two unit comeback, NCT 127 finally comeback and as usual, I look forward the most for their comeback since they are the face of NCT itself but hearing their song <Touch>, I was kinda disappointed at first since, again, this ain't their type of concept. It's like their concept changed with NCT Dream 😂

Moving on to how I started liking this big group. Well, it's all thanks to my close friends who likes Kpop. The story goes like this; our school is going to have this festival called Friendship Day and me being a member of the peer counselor, we have to organize this event like any other year. My friend who is Hanna ( hanjongin ) , she decided to do a dance performance on that day. Since we all don't have any idea to do anything on that day, we followed with her idea.

She told us to choose either to dance to <Handclap> (any choreography video in YouTube) or to NCT's <Black On Black>. I'm okay with either both of it but we decided to choose Black On Black since the performance contain lots of people dancing and the peer counselor don't have that many member so yeah.

We all decided to choose parts on first day of practice so me being the kpopper I am, said I wanted to do Jaemin's part even though I don't know how's the performance is. Before I stan them, I already knew every single member, even Lucas, Jungwoo and Kun so it wouldn't be a problem for me to recognize the members. But instead getting Jaemin's part, I got Haechan's part who dance next to Jaehyun, who is also danced by my friend, Ilya ( oohmama ). She dragged me to dance beside her and I ended up getting Haechan's part which have twirling part in Black On Black. 😂

The event is on Friday and we started practicing on that week's Monday, yeah. Exactly 4 days we practiced, about 6 hours 10 minutes of group practices and countless self practices. We excelled  in the intro part, Mark's rap part, Taeyong's rap part and Lucas's rap part only. The other parts, we didn't have the time to practice so we messed up those parts 😂

After five days of NCT Black On Black I keep listening to, on Saturday I don't know what to do anymore. You know the feeling where something always there but once it's not there anymore, you fell empty, that's how I feel on Saturday, after the performance. You know what I do on that Saturday?

I watched their crack videos, like literally 😂 Start at that point, I refresh my mind on remembering the members names and faces. I excelled the names according age by doing Black On Black fanchant. It helped me to remember the names in a span of three days, thanks whoever made that chant.

At that point too, I started to reconsider to stan or not NCT cause one; I was stanning Wanna One at that time and two; it's seriously hard for me to stan two groups at a time. After weeks of watching video, checking information, and etc., I finally decided to become an NCTzen on this date.

At that time too, NCT Dream is having a comeback so it's a great time for me too, my first comeback with NCT is We Go Up and my ultimate unit is Dream, what a great start isn't it. 😄

So that's how my story of how I became an NCTzen. It was a wonderful one year with them with so much happiness, sadness, hardships and etc. I wouldn't expect to stan such an amazing, talented, respectful group. I don't regret stanning NCT at all.

I hope I can be with them like how I stanned EXO (which is two years). Again, thanks to Hanna and Ilya who dragged me into dancing to Black On Black 😂
