Brynn's P.O.V.

My hands are gripping tightly on the steering wheel, causing my knuckles to turn white. I can feel the anxiety risng in my chest, hoping my plan is flawless and goes without complications.

I can feel the power of the 2019 challenger hellcat as, I hit 110 MPH, underneath my feet.

Zito took this beauty from Mauro's collection to get to my apartment as fast as he could. He said they impounded most of the other fast cars due to the fact that they were stolen or involved in different crimes.

I look in the rear-view mirror to see Zito with his usual Jaguar F-pace and the other two French guys in blacked out Cadillac SUVs. We had to bring cars with lots of seating since we're about to attempt to break out a grand total of 20 convicts.

I'm not a very religious person but lord help me.

I can see the lights of the police station come into my eye-site about 5 miles away. I turn up my playlist of Pierce the Veil's album Misadventures and get myself pumped up for my very own second bust.

My favorite song 'Today I Saw the Whole World' comes on and I know that this plan is gonna work as if everything is falling into place.

Bite on the curb
Aw, your sick entertainment
Oh, I'll bet it feels good when you're coming down
Can't bear to wash out the wasted time

I can feel my blood pumping through my veins as the adrenaline starts to set in and my mind starts to clear up.

Between our lips
So c'mon swing it back and forth just like
My heart is on a pendulum tonight
If your lungs are mine
I only wanna watch your clouds linger in the darkness

My favorite verse in the song causes my energy to come to its all time highest as I drift into the back ally of the police station, scaring at least 5 homeless people to scurry away from their cardboard houses. I'm on top of this world and nothing will stop me to get my family back. Even if it means Mauro has to come with.

If you're asking yourself if I'm still mad at Mauro, the answer is absolutely yes. He took me away from the people I connected with most, even if they are all criminals. I was never one to have normal friends anyways, besides the point. If he wasn't the boss I'd leave his ass in that holding cell to teach him a lesson. Fucking prick.

I slow the car down and throw it into park with Zito pulling up right next to me in the ally, getting out of the F-pace.

I give him a small smile reassuring him that everything will be alright. His worry is written all over his face which almost makes me laugh. I thought he was suppose to be the touch one, mister I've been in the mafia since 16.

"Ready Zito?" I place my hand on his shoulder as we walk next to each other.

"Honestly no, but if it means I'm gonna get my family back I'll do anything in this circumstance." He breathes out a long breath as we start to climb the many stairs to the public jail.

I turn my head to see the two frenchies walk behind us and stand at each side of the double doors.

I give both of them a head nod indicating that the plan is in play now and there shall be no fucking around.

"Put your hands behind your back." I whisper behind Zito as we reach the double doors of the Jail house. I can start to see the receptionist I recognize from all the times I visited James while at work and I don't want her to be suspicious in any way.

Zito puts his hands behind his back like I tied his hands up and I follow behind him holding onto his wrists. I feel my eyes adjust to the bright fluorescent lights since I was just outside in the dead of night.
