Brynn's P.O.V.

I pry open my eyes with the bright sun shining through my curtains. The warmth of the sun feels nice on my skin but the sheer blinding light counteracts it.

Growwwlllll

My stomach grumbles with hunger since, after Mauro leaving my room yesterday evening, I slept for the rest of the day. I just needed time to myself.

"What time is it?" I ask myself.

I turn my body in my bed to check my alarm clock and do my eyes deceive me? It's fucking 11 a.m.?!

I slept for 15 hours and no one woke me up? I mean, I wouldn't of wanted anyone to wake me up, but I'm definitely not a morning person.

I stretch in my bed a little before deciding to stand up. I trudge my feet against the soft plushy carpet to my bathroom. I take a very needed hot shower and wash all the sleep from my body. I can feel my muscles coming back to life when the boiling hot water runs down my skin.

Showers are the best, especially when you have a lot on your mind. When Mauro asked me about my father yesterday, it kind of brought up some old feelings I guess I never really resolved. I've realized I am still very angry with my mother for leaving me behind. Her only daughter was left to find a job and provide for herself, without any warning.

I attempt to wash my problems away with my teatree shampoo but the thoughts are still there after I rinsed. I've decided against shaving my legs today since I'm probably going to be lounging around for the millionth time since I've been here. I don't think I've shaven my legs the whole time I've been here. New personal record baby.

In fact no one has really left the house except Mauro for some "personal meetings". I call bullshit. He's probably getting cabin fever like the rest of us, but ever since he speared Benny, we've been afraid to approach him and him blowing up on me yesterday doesn't make anything better. Anytime I see him he is in his office with the door slightly cracked open and he sits at his desk, either on the phone or looking at papers.

Every time I pass by I want to be nosey and ask what he's doing but I don't want to get my head chewed off like a chew toy.

I make my way down the stairs toward the kitchen to make myself some breakfast. I walk through the dinning room to see its empty and push through the swinging doors to my favorite room in the house, besides my own.

Gianna is sitting at the island playing with her phone. She doesn't notice me entering the room as I sneak up behind her and see what's displaying across her screen. It looks like she's reading a book.

Oh how I miss reading books on my phone late at night. I can't read paper back because it causes me to fall asleep where as the light from the screen keeps me awake.

Sniff

"Ahh!" Gianna heard my sniff and jumps realizing I'm behind her looking over her shoulder. She accidentally throws her phone, it landing in the sink attached to the gigantic island. "Great, Brynn. Just great." She leans over and grabs her slightly wet phone.

I can't help but fall to the floor in a fit of laughter. My stomach starts to hurt at how hard I am laughing.

"Ha ha very funny." Gianna puts her hands on her hips looking down at me from the barstool. I just keep replaying her scream in my head causing me to laugh harder.
