"Milannn ! Mekaiii ! Come eat!" I called out to the twins as I was setting the table. They both ran down in a hurry to sit down at the table.
"Morning mama." Mekai said as he ran up to me to give me a hug. Milan followed and did the same.
"Morning babies. You excited for your first day of school?"
"I am! But Milan is scared." Mekai said while laughing
"I am not !" Milan said
"Are too!" I rolled my eyes. This wasn't anything new..
"Milan it's fine if you're a little bit nervous baby. Don't let Mekai tease you. I know he's scared too, but you're both gonna be fine. I promise. Plus ! Nova is gonna be going to school with you guys."
"I wish I could just stay home with you mama. I don't wanna go to a new school" Milan said while pouting
"I know pooh , but you're gonna be fine at your new school. I promise." She smiled.

There was a knock on the door and I went to open it.
"Maniiii !" The twins yelled as they ran up to Amani.

Back story on Amani: Me & Amani have been together for a year now..Alexis introduced us because they worked together and now here we are. The twins love him.

"Wassup Twinsss!"
"We missed you Mani!" Milan said while giving him a hug
"I missed y'all too baby"
There was a honk outside and I looked out the window to see who it was.
"Auntie Lexis is here y'all. Come on let's go." I grabbed the twins hands and walked them out to Alexis's car.

"Hey pooh"
"Hey Lex"
"Hi Auntie London !!" Nova said from the backseat
"Hi Nova pooh !"
"Bye mommy!" The Twins said
"Bye babies. Be good at school. Love youuu!"
"We love you too!" Alexis smiled and drove the kids to school . I walked back in and sat down on the couch.
"Well damn baby.. you can't say nun?" Mani said while sitting down next to me.
"Sorry boo. I just got a lot on my mind"
"Shiid let me help you with that then.." he smirked and looked me up and down
"Boy bye you comedy."
He laughed . "I'm just tryna cheer you up. You been down in the dumps lately."
"I know.. I've just been thinking a lot, but Ill try to stop thinking so much I guess."
"Not even saying that...just try not to stress yourself out so much. It's not good for you. Aight?"
I smiled and gave him a hug
"Thank you for caring baby..it's mad appreciated."
"You know I always gotchu."
I smiled & then my phone buzzed.

I pulled it out and seen a text

"Can we meet up or sum? - Antwan."
That same feeling I felt when I heard he passed is the same feeling that came back. Hopefully this isn't somebody playing a prank...childish ass mf's
