On The Run

Spark's POV

I was running away from Crystal, Dolly and Sylvia. Though I wasn't running on full speed because I was still considering if this was for the best.... I made my decision and I let them corner me. Crystal told me to stop but I knew what was for the best. I said my goodbyes, I used thunder on myself to create a flash and then I ran away as fast as I possibly could. I heard Crystal pleading to me to not run away but I didn't listen. I recalled I had left my bag in my home so I have to go back to get it. I quickly stormed into my room picked up the bag and ran away in a random direction. When I was running I heard someone talk so I jumped in a bush. I saw that the one I heard talking was Crystal. I overheard that she was going to talk to someone but for the rest her voice sounded like everything was fine. "I'm glad that she's able to forget me." I mumbled that to myself and started running the opposite way of where Crystal was going. First off I should run far away from forest Grotto and then find a place to stay for the night and think about what I should do next. I kept running for a full hour before I decided to stop and rest for a bit. I should probably set up camp here. I don't know what will be coming at me in these woods so I should be well rested. I went to find some berries since I already ate all the berries I bought yesterday. I found some berries, ate them, curled up and went to sleep under a random tree. After a while I felt someone poking my left side. I woke up and saw that a gengar was teasing me. "Finally, you are hard to wake up my friend. Now, would you be so kind to give me a little bit of.... FUN!" Right after he said that I was wide awake ready for anything. "Go away pesky shit head!" "Now now that's no way to greet your opponent." "Opponent?" "Oh yes let me clarify.... WITH FUN I MEANT BATTLE!" He then used a move called 'night shade' and shot the attack towards me. I wanted to dodge it but we were too close to each other so it hit me and it inflicted a fair amount of damage. "Still standing huh? Not bad. You might be interesting after all." "Focus on the battle dumbass." I then quickly ran towards him and used shadow ball from close range. Not much later my shadow ball hit him in the face and my ghost type attack was super effective on the ghost/poison type so  in the end he was sent flying and didn't return so I assumed he fainted. I traveled a save distance away from where me and the gengar had our battle and decided to sleep under another random tree. That night I had a dream of me and Crystal. I saw Crystal was sitting alone in her room and she was thinking about something. I tried to talk to her but she didn't respond.After I tried to talk to her several times I tried to touch her with my paw but my paw went right through her. After that happened someone knocked on the door. Crystal's ears perked up at the sound and she got up and walked towards her door. It was Sylvia who knocked on the door and that was now standing in front Crystal. "Hey Crystal! How are you?" "I'm fine thanks for asking. And you? How are you doing?" "Fine as well. Any thoughts about Spark lately?" "...... I miss him. I know I only knew him for 3 days but he was really nice to me and he was one of the only mons I know that could understand how I felt about..... you know." Suddenly Crystal looked sad as she looked at the ground. "I know Crystal.... let's just get some coffee." Then they walked away. I tried to follow them but my body wouldn't move. I tried screaming after them but my mouth wouldn't move either. I started panicking but then I awoke, the light of the sun shining down on my face. It was a beautiful day with again no cloud in the sky and the sun was shining down on me. I recalled in what kind of situation I was in and frowned. "Why can't I just let them go..... Should I turn back?..... No... I would put life's of other Pokémon in danger. Plus Crystal looked fine with me going away..... not in my dream though but dreams are dreams and real is real..... I should go." The fact that I finally made some friends and had to leave them behind made me sad. I looked at where the sun was in the sky. Judging from where it stands I would guess it's now 9:00 am. I started walking in a random direction again and sometimes I walked by a bush and it would mess up my fur. After walking for an hour I met another Pokémon. The Pokémon was an oddish. I asked if it knew where we where but he had no idea so I started walking again. After a boring walk of 3 hours I was getting tired so I sat down and decided to take a nap so I could be on full power.....

Crystal's POV

After the break I went to search for Spark in a fast pace. I walked for 2 hours asking Pokémon if they had seen him run around but I nobody had seen him. It was now 3:00 pm and I knew I should turn back soon before I had to travel back in the dark. I walked around a bit more until I saw an oddish and asked if he had seen a Jolteon and to my surprise it said "Yes I have, it went that way." The Oddish gazed to a certain direction and without thanking the Oddish I started running that way. I'm gonna find you Spark.....

Soooo yeah, it's now time to say goodbye again, so here we go.............. Goodbye🙃.

P.S: I know this chap is late today and I apologise for that but I'm still on vacation and besides writing this story I'm also trying to enjoy my vacation, I hope everyone understands that. Also tomorrow (August 24 that is) I'm flying back to the Netherlands 🇳🇱 (so yeah I'm Dutch... surprise🥳) and I'm flying for 12 hours so I'm afraid there's a big chance of me not updating tomorrow but I'll make up to that by uploading 2 chapters on August 25.
