Rosé's POV

I was craving for some phó after last night. I haven't heard back from Lisa about our encounter, but I don't think I would be.

She was obviously drunk, so hence it was a mistake. Wasn't it?

Tzuyu, a good friend of mine, called and asked if I had lunch plans. We decided to head over to my favourite spot for phó.

It wasn't my favourite just because of the yummy food, but it was a place Lisa and I often spend most of our dates at.

Just stepping through the doors, I felt nostalgic just staring at our usual booth.

Tzuyu plopped herself down on the first table she saw and we proceeded to order.

Moments later, I heard the bell ringing shortly indicating the door was being opened or closed.

I looked up from my bowl of food and caught a glimpse of Lisa.

She had her mask on but I'd always recognise her eyes.

She accidentally bumped into our table, and kept apologising profusely as the hot soup spills on my thigh.

"L-Lisa.." slipped through my lips. She tilted her head up and our eyes interlocked.

Every memory of us flashed before my eyes in a split second. I miss you Lali... so much you don't even know.

I swear I saw Lisa giving me a smile for a second, then her eyes started to seem sad.

Her lips, forming a straight line instead of their usual upward curve.

We had a very brief conversation until Tzuyu decided to be an ass as butt in, exposing me for telling her about Lisa.

I could tell Lisa wasn't bothered by Tzuyu, but it did seem she was bothered around me.

She dashed through the doors without even ordering.

A part of me was begging for me to run after her and talk about last night, but I know I wasn't in any position to anymore.

Lisa's POV

I couldn't find anything to binge watch or hold my attention for more than 15 seconds.

I started fidgeting with my phone, deleting all the apps I didn't need. I got to my phone's gallery and found:

And about 7,000 more photos of her. I couldn't help but smile every time a photo reminded me of how in love we used to be.

Here's a photo of her happy face when I said we'd go for another round of dinner after the first one:

Sigh, I was so whipped for her.

My smiles wiped off my face and I started to feel my heart aching and longing for her again.

While deep in thought, my brain train stopped when I heard my a continuous "ding" of my doorbell.

I picked myself up off the couch and dusted my shirt, pulling it downwards to make it more presentable.

I opened the door and all I saw was one park chaeyoung.

"Hey, what are you doing here?," I asked. She looked at me, her eyes red and puffy as if she was just crying.

She still hasn't spoken a word. Her lips start to tremble and as they fell into a pout.

"I think you should come in before the paparazzi flocks about my front yard," I joked.

She gave me a slight smile and nodded, her hair unintentionally brushing past my nose as I smelt her familiar scent.

Okay, Lisa think. This is the first time in 8 months that you and chaeyoung are alone, and not the alone in the bathroom washing your hands alone, alone alone.

Don't say anything dumb.

"So how've you been?," I asked not looking in her direction. "I've been alright. Lisa... can we talk about you know what?."
