"Have you heard the news?" James asked sneaking up behind me in the library.
"Yes I have and don't scare me like that." I said putting a hand over my heart. "It's not everyday the King and Queen of England comes to stay at your house." I said making him smile and sit down next to me.
"Just think about it. Me serving the King dinner." He said making me smile and hold his hand. "I'm so excited." He said standing up and pulling me with him. "We should go out to celebrate." He said making me roll my eyes.
"I want to but, I'm sure Mr.Carson is going to put you to work and I need to go shopping for a new frock." I said making him pout, but nod.
"Okay. I'll see you for dinner." He said quickly kissing me before walking back downstairs.
"I'm going into town to buy a new frock, does anyone want to come with me?" I asked everyone in the sitting room, but everyone shook there heads no. "Okay I'll be back before dinner." I said waving to everyone.
"Wait Y/N. If I got permission from Mr. Carson, could I come with you?" He asked making me smile and roll my eyes playfully.
"Sure. Just be quick I'm leaving in five minutes." I said as he nodded and ran back downstairs.
About to minutes later he came ran back up and gave me a thumbs up. "Mr.Stark, to London please." I said as he nodded and opened the door for me. As soon as we arrived in London we headed right for the dress shop.

"Oh what about this one?" I asked pointing to a white dress on a mannequin to James, we have been dress hoping for about half an hour and I could already tell James was getting a bit bored, but I could tell he liked the dress I pointed out.
"That would look good with your skin and hair." He said calling a worker over. "Can we try this dress on?" He asked as she nodded and went to the back to try the dress on. "Go try it on love." He said pushing me to the dressing room as I nodded. As soon as I came out his jaw dropped. "You look stunning." He said as I smiled and spun around to look at the back.
"Thank you, I think I'll get this one." I said as she nodded. "I'll be right back." I said kissing his cheek before taking the frock off. By the time we got home we were just in time for dinner.
"I'm so excited tomorrow the King and Queen will be sitting right at our table." Cora said making all of us smile. "Everyone has to get up a little bit earlier since there coming in for a early luncheon. " She said as we all nodded.
"I'm going to wake up at 8, Alfred could you tell Anna to come up to my room at 8 please?" I asked as he nodded and went down. "I want to get a few things done before everyone comes. Wait has the butler and everyone else arrived yet?" I asked as the next course came out.
"They have madam." James said bowing and making me nod and blush a little.
"Thank you. It must be a nightmare down there." I said making Tom laugh. "When is Edith and Bertie coming over?" I asked.
"Tomorrow morning, she said around 9. Did you know that they don't have a nanny anymore for Marigold." She said making Robert look up from his paper.
"Why not?" He asked taking a sip from his tea.
"She says that things are changing and she wants to try and be a more active parent."I said making him choke on his tea and look at me while Cora just smiled and patted Roberts back..
