"When did it happen?" Robert asked as we all got ready to sit around the table.

"Last night, he took me out to the rose garden." I said as Cora smiled.

"You have to show us women the ring after dinner." Mary said as I nodded and last the footmen bring in the food.

"It seems like it's around time for the servants ball again." I said as Cora nodded.

"I think we all know who you'll be dancing with." Edith said as I smirked but didn't say anything.  "Anyways, I won't be able to dance at the ball." Edith said referring to her pregnant state.

"But you are coming right?" I asked as she smiled and nodded.

"I'll just sit and chat with people." She said as the food was being offered. "Get ready for all the wedding planning."

"Oh I'm so excited, and I won't be bullied to have my wedding any other way." I said looking at Mary who just had a smug look on her face.

"Tell us what you want." Cora said as I smiled and blushed a bit.

"Of course a classic catholic wedding, but I also want to have the reception in the village park. Maybe some dancing and I want to have a formal supper, family style. That's how I used to have it back at home." I said as Cora smiled and nodded.

"That sounds very lovely." Cora said as I look to James and smile.

"Um after the wedding we were thinking about moving to a farm land outside Rippon." I said making Robert choke on his drink.

"You're not staying here?" Robert asked as I shook my head no.

"I don't think so, I mean is t that proper, to move away once one get married?" I said, looking over to James.

"I suppose..." Robert said, before standing up. "If you'll excuse me."

"Robert." I said getting up and following him out. "I'm sorry if I upset you, I.." I said but he cut me off.

"No, I'm sorry. I've just gotten very fond of you over the years, and seeing you grow up and now getting married. It feels like there on of my own." He said making me tear up.

"I was wondering if you would walk me down the aisle? My parents aren't going to make it. My father is ill and my mother is taking care of him, and I feel like you've been more of a father to me as well." I asked as he smiled and nodded.

"Of course." He said as I smiled and wrapped my arms around him in a  hug before making my way back to the dinning room and sitting down.

"He'll be back in a moment." I said before continuing dinner. A few days later the grand hall was all decorated up, all ready for the servants ball.  It was my job this time to organize the ball, which I was happy to do.

"Mr.Barrow can you send up Mrs. Patmore?" I ask as he nods and leaves me, James, and Alfred all alone.

"Alfred, I was wondering if you'd be my best man at the wedding?" James asked Alfred as I smiled and look to Alfred, who look surprised.

"Really?" Alfred asked as James nodded. "I'd love to, thank you." He said giving both James and I a hug.

"Excuse me miss you asked for me?" Mrs. Patmore asked as Alfred nodded and continued to lay chairs out.

"Yes Mrs Patmore. I was wondering if you would be able to prepare something a bit simpler, since everyone will be dancing and what not." I asked as she nodded. "Maybe a few cold items, some ham?"

"Of course, milady. I'll get it sorted."

"Thank you very much." I said as she nodded and went back downstairs.

A FEW HOUES LATER
"Oh Y/N, you did such a great job decorating the hall and organizing everything." Robert said lookinf around before heading into the dinning hall for dinner.

"Thank you. Everyone worked hard, I can tell their all excited." I said taking a seat next to my brother. Who just for back from his honeymoon.

"How's married life? Are you liking the new estate?" I asked him as he smiled and nodded.

"Yes, Lucy inherited a beautiful estate, and the honeymoon was great. Always good to see mom and dad." He said as I smiled, but didn't agree. After put light dinner we made it about to the sitting room to let the people set up the instruments.

"So I assume, you'll be dancing with your fiancee?" Tom asked as I blushed and shrugged.

"Probably for a while, but also Alfred." I said looking over to the boys, who were offering drinks around.

"Your lordship, were ready." Carson said as we all got up and made our way to the hall where the orchestra started playing.

After a while James came over and extended his hand out for me.

"May I have this dance madam?" He asked ad I smiled and curtsied.

"Of course kind sir." I said taking his hand and following him to the dance floor where quite a few people where dancing about.

"I started looking around for farm land around the area, and there's a farm spot around a mile from the house, specializes in sheep, pigs, and a even a few cows." He said making me smile.

"That sounds lovely dear. Whatever you come up with, I'll follow." I said smiling widely.
