Although the king let him off easy for that night doesn't mean he was for the rest. Virgil spent the whole week suffering through toture, every bone in his body hurt so much he couldn't even walk, let alone defend himself, he was stuck. After a really long week, Saturday rolled around, it was ten in the morning but Virgil didn't want to go meet his sister at the doors to the palace, in stead he lay in his bed trying to get at least an hour more sleep. He heard a knock on his door, he said nothing, the door opened and Ashley walked in, she sat on his bed, Virgil just kept staring at the ceiling,
"Hey." she said, Virgil said nothing, "I-I know you're still mad at me." he kept staring at the ceiling ignoring her, "But I wanted you to know that Im always here for you." she looked at Virgil, she must have been completely blind to not notice the medical tape that was very out in the open as Virgils hair was off to the side because she stood up and walked out the room, Virgil was honestly glad she didn't see it, otherwise he'd have to tell her what happened and that was too risky. Virgil just lay on his bed and closed his eyes, he didn't fall asleep, he just lay there in silence, it was not like he could really move at all, his arms hurt, his neck hurt, his back, his legs and to top it all off he had a horrible headache. Virgil lay there motionless, all he wanted was sleep, but that was not what the day had planned for him.
