It's been seven and a half hours since I've been driving. Seven and a half!

It's around 7pm and I'm in Atlanta trying to follow a magical compass that would lead me to a werewolf who is transitioning for the first time. The best bit ~ they aren't even aware of their supernatural heritage.

This all started in the morning when Emma had frantically came knocking on my office door. She had created a compass that would alert her of any suspicious supernatural activity, such as a transitioning werewolf.

Hence why I'm roaming around Atlanta trying to find All Saint's Church. Which luckily for me I see at the end of the street and I quickly park outside it.

I could hear some shuffling and shouting, some in English and some in another language ~ Latin perhaps.

Is a priest seriously trying to do an exorcism?

I get out the car, taking the black duffel bag and cross bow and jog to the doors, only to find it locked and chains jiggling on the other side, hearing screams, I groan and use my supernatural strength and kick the door open.

Walking inside, I see a couple holding onto each other as they watched a priest shout at a young boy who was on all fours, trying to fight the pain of transform.

Rolling my eyes, I use my speed to knock out the priest first, before knocking out both the man and the woman leaving the boy on his hands and knees, he lifts his head and looks at me desperately.

"Please." He groaned. "Help me." His eyes started to water due to the pain he was forced to endure.

"Okay sweetheart, lets get you ready for the best and worst day of your life."

I open the black duffle bag I had chucked to the side with the crossbow and take out the sliver chains and place it in the bench then take out the carabiners and drill.

The boy's fingers grew into claws, his ears begin to lengthen and become pointed, and his joints all pop out of socket as they transform into his wolf form.

I noticed this and begin to move quicker, grabbing the tools and start drilling carabiners into the floor of the sacristy, attaching chains to all four of the hooks in a square.

I get the reinforced collar and fasten it around the boy's neck just as he digs his claws into the wooden floor.

"I'm finished, I'm finished. Easy now."

By the time I'm finished, the boy is fully transformed into a large pitch black wolf with golden eyes. I look at him sympathetically while he continues to snarl at me.

It's going to be a long night.

And I was right, it had been almost twelve hours since the boy transformed and two hours since he shifted back and fell straight to sleep, it was coming towards eight in the morning when I heard the first movement in hours from him.
