(3rd Person POV)

Herobrine looked back at the sorcerer, who was still out cold a few blocks away.

His white eyes stared in thought.
What to do with him...

Torture him?

Break him?

Kill him?

Possess him?

Let him go?

There's too many options...

Herobrine shook his head.

I'll just leave him be, he thought.

So, with a heavy sigh, he teleported to his daughter's bedroom to make sure Night had taken her home.

She looked up at him worriedly and sat up in her bed.

"Are you okay, daddy?" she whispered, tear streaks glowing in the light of her father's eyes.

Herobrine sighed and sat next to his daughter, wrapping an arm protectively around her small frame.

"Of course Aj. It'll take a lot more than a stab to the heart to bring your father down." he whispered back, running his fingers through her long hair.

She leaned against him, her head on his chest.

"You really scared me daddy."

He kissed the top of her head. "I'm sorry sweetie. I didn't mean to."

She hugs him tightly. "Don't do that again, daddy. Please."

He pulled her close. "I won't Aj. Promise."

She clung to his shirt, not wanting to let go as he combed his fingers through her dark hair.

"Not for a moment would I consider it."

After a while, Aj had fallen asleep against her father's chest.

Herobrine kissed the top of her head before gently laying her on her pillows.

Sighing heavily, he teleported to his bedroom and laid down.

He felt horrible for scaring his daughter.

Was gaining a new servant worth it?

(Back in da Jungle)

Jerome's eyes widened as his friend disappeared in a white flash.

I've got to warn the others!

He turned and ran back towards the castle, the sun slowly rising behind him.

It took him an hour just to reach the front gates.

He gasped for breath as he stumbled through and fell into someone's arms.

"Biggums what's wrong?" Mitch asked worriedly.

"It-It's Adam." He panted. "H-He's with H-Herobrine."

Mitch looked down at his friend confused.

"Herobrine? Biggums are you sure you didn't hit your head falling out of a tree?"

Jerome nodded and stood up, his breathing starting to regulate.

"I saw him with my own eyes, Mitch. He's as real as those squids in the ocean."

Mitch shivered and nodded. "So what do we do?"

Jerome shook his head, eyes wide with fear. "I have no idea..."

"Well where's Seto? Didn't you follow him out there?"

Jerome's eyes widened and he cursed. "Notch I left him passed out against a tree!"

"Then what are we doing standing around? Let's go get him!" Mitch exclaimed, unsheathing his sword and leading them both into the trees.
