In this story idea, there used to be two universes co-existing with one another in this story idea and both universes were teeming with life.
Until both universes exploded or collided with each other causing the event we now know as the Big Bang.
Ideas for what caused the explosion if went with that idea
War with one another.
Apocalypse.
Doomsday device.
Universes were at their end of life aka system expiration date.
Of course, in this story idea similar to Galactus, some people did survive the two universes Big Bang and were still alive and would later become Gods and Goddess from mythology and religion once humans came into being.
